While everyone was either playing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt or the third episode of Life is Strange, we felt pretty lonely livestreaming CD Projekt's latest game. Sadly, the English part didn't have all the action of the French stream, so it may have been a little boring for those who didn't want to watch a 20 minute long cutscene. Thankfully, the reward at the very end was the discovery of a new part of the world and it was quite worth it we must say.

Have fun not playing the best rpg in MANY years i guess.
The game is good but playing it maxed out and everything on ultra its not exactly WOW even using DSR and playing it with 4k chosen does not even improve textures or anything.
I just think they all should stop bulling gamers and showing what I call fake footage making out that is what the game will be like when they know 100% it wont be, this is a big reason why preorders of games have dropped massively in the UK because people are sick of it.
If I had not got the game free with my graphics card then its something I would have got preowned, its a ok game but not something I would have bought full price.
my horse keeps walking 10ft above my character too which drives me made because I have to restart the game for it to sort out.
Every time I'm walking through a beautiful forest and a bright red popup shows up telling me there is a hare close by it takes me out the moment. Every time I get into an epic battle and score a blow and a giant -14 points subtracted from enemies health pops up over his head it takes me out of the moment. Loving the game other than this, but this crap has got to go!
reports are flowing in in regards to the gtx 960 outperforming the 770 4gb, and SLI 960s matching 780Ti's in SLI as well.
Apparently the entire world is tessellated, as well as water, and the 9xx series architecture handles tessellation more effeciently. Still sounds like bullshit, but thats the speculation--that and this one:
Hairworks starts at default setting of 8xMSAA when enabled. In the install directory, you can modify the .ini file, and find the string of text that entails the hairworks MSAA setting. you can change it from 8, to 4, 2, or 0. I would recommend setting it to 2, or 0, especially if you run the game with full scene AA already.
This is why many cutscenes are tanking in performance. Every rendered strand of hair 8x multi-sampled? Who the fucks idea was it to have that the default setting?
Anyhow, hope this helps you guys get some FPS. Try adjusting that in the .ini, and try messing with the tessellation option as well. This will benefit Kepler users, but should benefit everyone all around also.
Secondly, hair styling has existed through the entire human history. Did you imagine that fashion is a new thing? Yes, they did in fact have curling irons and shit, or rather their technologically primitive counterparts.
