i actually think the gameplay is pretty good for an arcade game. fun and fast, defo a good combo lol and the graphics are top notch

I am one of the few that love Over G fighters, thats probably why I don't like the arcadey feel in this game. But with nothing else to choose from it will be a buy at the releasedate

looks FREAKING AWESOME!! Damn shots are so nostalgic, some stages remind me of AC4 especially the stage with the sunset, it reminds me of siege of farbanti from Ace Combat 4

I've personally never played any flight game, whether sim or arcade, that truly enthralled me, but Ace Combat is the series that's come closest for me. I've never been able to get really 'into' any sim, and all the other arcade type flight games I found even more unappealing.
The demo of this game I found far too easy, I'm really not sure what gameplay mechanics they could do to make it truly fun, but I'm hoping the full game is a lot better.
Anyways, I've already preordered it and I'm crossing my fingers.

For me, Ace Combat is about 50% gameplay, 50% story. Believe it. The way the characters, plot, and cutscenes are all woven together, this is truly a series that enthralls.

I agree with yourgoodtwin, ace combat is really about great presentation, music and story.
I think the story in this is going to suck cause they are going after that over dramatic style of AC5. The story in AC4 was the best, told with really well done sketchs and narrative
