Namco releases a big bunch of Tekken 6 screenshots, seventeen to be precise. The images still aren't in 720p, as usual, but the game looks good anyway.

We really worked hard on that one, not just on the video itself, but also on push-ups, ski, running and even a very humiliating belly dance sequence... Enjoy !

Looks very nice indeed.
But there was a time I was into fighitng games, but not anymore.
DOA and Tekken are the only series for me, as fighting games goes of course.

I think graphically it looks pretty good ,but I'm more into Soul Calibur style of gameplay.

Looks alright, i just wish the guys that do the models would learn to model muscles better. Just look at Feng in the firs couple of pics.
Oh well, this is one of those titles where graphics really does come second to the gameplay. I don't care if it looks crappy, really, if it plays great. Preferably both though.

Eddie was in Tekken 5. You just have to but the alternative costume for Christie and then press triangle when you select her. There, you can play as Eddie.

i've grown extremely tired of this series and all the other major franchises. tekken, vf, doa.. none of them impress me anymore. the art direction in all of them bore me, and i'm so tired of the way character models are portrayed in these fighting games anymore. animation is poor and hasn't changed much either. i really wish they would do a sequel to tao feng, because the artists were good, and they knew musculature and anatomy well. i just need something different, something a little more realistic that actually compliments the new advances in hardware. i can't believe no new devs are doing anything to compete with these old and tired franchises, because there is PLENTY of room for something new and innovative. these old franchises NEVER change. seems like someone would take notice, and do something new and interesting.
i do look forward to SC4, and if it doesn't spark my interest like the original dreamcast version did, then i think i'll give up on fighting games completely.

Your right these the main 3 fighting games don't change much but its only so much they can without alienating there fan base, but I play them all. This is the first current-gen Tekken so give a chance I think its going to have alot of new factors to catch PS3 owners attention.

A fighter is a fighter at the end of the day and you can't change it hugely without making it something new, you have to keep the same characters and art style (to some degree) otherwise it becomes something different.
