Kart Attack discovered in images

Blimey! Games announces the coming of an all-new game inspired by kart racing. Kart Attack is destined for the Xbox Live Marketplace, Playstation Network and Games for Windows Live. Its graphics have nothing to do with an amateur project. Another important detail is the focus on realism, so no fancy power-ups a la Mario Kart for you. Feel free to verify after the jump.
A release date has yet to be revealed.

Very original, and very good looking for an arcade title. Could be a lot of fun. What is Blimey! Games claim to fame? Any prior work?

How will they release all the useless crap on disc when downloadables start looking like this? Oh yes, only a handful of PS3 users and two handfuls of 360 users are online and it will only get worse as the consoles come down in price, crap will sell and many a dvd-tree will be chopped down in vain. TIMMBERRRR!
Cas in point, Wii Play.. 5/10 average on metacritic and sells 3 million a month. Its threatening the ancient plastic trees of amazonia.

omg! looks amazing for an XBLA for only 1200msp?! looking forward to its sim-realism focus. i might even buy a wheel controller for this ^ ^
