Grafx downgradet once more, but looking still very good for a GTA. Great game imo.

some of the area-shots look like shots of a city-minature/model due to all the blurring.

noone needs a demo... we just need the game! :)

Looks alright but I'm more interested in Saints Row 2 simply because of the online co-op. I'd also like to see some gameplay other than just the guy walking around.

This game got hit with the ugly stick. I am getting really tired of BS mockups these developers use to first hype their games! If there is a chance you cant accomplish your original screenshot goals, dont release them to the public!

I guess there is always next gen.

It could be poor application of the Wax on, Wax off maneuver.
But it's more likely to be just shit graphics.

Blurry textures indeed + bad use of depth of field. Hopefully work in progress to deliver a steady 30fps game without screen tearing or slowdown.

SOMEBODY has to bitch about it (if the reviewers won't do it), otherwise the industry would deliver games at 10fps with screen tearing + slowdown for the nice price of 70 dollars!

If you know Rockstar you should know that they don't release demo's of their GTA series.

GTA LCS on PSP is SOOOO good, its way better than GTA SA. This game will rule!

I have to say im fairly impressed considering the scale of the game. All the last gen GTA games looked like shite and bordered on budget title graphics bt these are look more like screens of an AAA game.
Looking forward to it. I just hope everything is polished to a 'T' considering they delayed it by about 8 months.

Taking scale into account this is hawt. That they can do dynamic lighting and still look this good is pretty impressive.

yeah i think there has been a downgrade in graphics too. Look at screenshot 6, it also looks close to the actual gameplay shot

Looks DAMN good. Mostly. The road shader is crap. LOL. I wonder if both versions will use the same exact art assets. I'd expect the 360 version to have higher-rez textures and whatnot, and then the PS3 version to have higher poly counts, but then that would just be dumb for Rockstar, and too expensive...

It's hilarious how people are saying the graphics have been 'downgraded' when these are the same exact shots we've gotten before. Some of these shots are quite old. Of the original set there are NO new ones... The character shots are new though.

Just to elaborate, most of these shots I have saved on my HDD from MAY 24TH...

TBH it looks the same as it always has (its never looked AMAZIN visually). its just more evident when they take a still shot of the game since you have more time to analyse the scene. the textures are painfully low res, but then considering the size of the world will it matter? who knows. im sure everyone wishes it'd end up looking like uncharted but the scale of the world just doesnt alow that (unless there where FREQUENT loading, which would suck)

for what its trying to do it look great (offers a genuine sense of a real living breathing city that no game has even come close to before), and as long as it retains the gamplay and humour of the last games im sold
