With some luck we got our hands on Ubisofts Lost: Via Domus, released today in the US and on friday in Europe. Inside you will find a couple of videos showing the first steps in the game, showing some characters and the game's story.
You will in the videos see the main character suffering from amnesia. I've only taken the first steps in the game and shouldn't say too much about the game yet, but the graphics are at least pretty good and the controls solid. As many people previously have pointed out, the characters can both look and sound a little bit different from the TV show.
The controls can sometimes be a little bit unresponsive, mostly reminding me of Shenmue 2 - really slow walking, run on triggers, and taking out really big turns when you turn while running. There is of course a chance that you can get used to it, but it can be irritating getting stuck on objects while running here as much as it was in Shenmue.
The second video below will show the Flashback feature in the game, while the third one show the characters in the game and a puzzle. These videos are unfortunately not in HD resolution, sorry about that.
Bully by a country mile. This is from a hardcore Lost fan and someone playing the Lost game. I played Bully on PS2 and it was a superb game, really good fun, decent length as well, can't wait for the 360 version.
Quite stupid not to add dialogue in the gameplay conversation but in cutscene the guy talks.
Second, the face expressions is just dead, all I see is eyes, head moving and their mouth to talk.
This is clearly a game fast to make to please the LOST fans and say "here you go fans, here is the game to your beloved tv show".
This will be good if you are a fan, but as a keeper, I dont know, it depends how much of a fan you are I guess.

How many weeks was the "amount of time"? Clearly wasn't much, and the amount of money clearly wasn't much either, judging by the last, last, last gen gameplay dynamics, dodgy visuals, poor character models and distinct lack of real voice talent (Jack is actually fairly decent though, but Sawyer is horrendous).
Sigh. This game could have been awesome. Oh well. Back to watching Lost in HD on Abc.com(trying to refresh my memory from all three seasons, and it just reinforces how awesome of a show it is!).

@GriftGFX: well Dragon age extracted is suppose to be arround 20 gigs but the download was only 8 gigs or 15 gigs...procedure might be different for newer games (6 Hours ago)

45 minutes for this game would have to be like... 3+ megabytes per second. My Comcast can't do that. (6 Hours ago)

My FFOW DL is almost 12.9 gigs and like 95% done. (6 Hours ago)

Steam appears to download extracted and installed, there's no install process once you finish downloading a game. (6 Hours ago)

D2D file right now is 9.2 GB's. I think it was less when I was downloading it (now its extracted) I am pretty sure Steam works the same way. 12 gb is probably the extracted size :P (6 Hours ago)

I'm not a Lost-fan, but this looks quite good, too...

No buy for me =/
...
I'll get my coat.
(but they did)
Ubisoft are officially off my radar until Splinter Cell 4
However, I am still more than willing to give the game a proper playthrough. If I played through Spider-Man 3, I can sure play through this! xD
