Sierra and Massive Entertainment are finally ready to show the console versions of World In Conflict: Soviet Assault, which will be released this fall on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. The bonus campaign included will also be released as an expansion on PC, while the console ports are being developed by both Massive and Swordfish Studios (the developers of Cold Winter and the upcoming 50 Cent: Blood in the Sand). The game got great reviews when it was released last fall on the PC and hopefully the online mode can be just as good on consoles!

What once seemed impossible is becoming a reality now. RTS actually working on consoles (and getting more popular each year)

I'm curious about this new controller "Newton" and (if it exists) how would it play a role in Xbox 360 Strategy Games.

I wonder if that's footage from the 360 or PS3 version, or just PC version because of the expansion? They talk up the console versions a lot, so it has made me hopeful that it will turn out quite well.

So this is an RTS? I sorta thought it looked like an FPS, looks cool anyway. Got alot of good ratings!

This is more a "Tactical RTS"... You mostly control your units but don't have to worry about resources unlike classic RTS.
