It's looking more interesting than the previous videos.
What is the difficultly level like DJ ? looks pretty easy so far from what i can tell.
And I share Jollipops view that it looks rather easy.
To be honest unless if something drastically changes later on the gameplay looks really boring. And not to mention easy. I do like the art but as far as I can tell that's the only thing it's got going for it.
Has it been confirmed for US release yet?

I haven't changed the difficulty, it's on default. The first few levels are pretty easy but after the 4th level it's starts to get very hard. It's a great game although some of the collision detection is off and it gets a little frustrating when you try and shoot somebody point blank, but the bullets goes straight through the enemy.
Anyway the border effect looks amazing. I wish I could say the same about the gameplay, which looks merely decent. I'm hoping they release a demo so I can make a better judgment.
Hopefully, they fix some of those glitches for the U.S. release. Anyway, how's the story so far? Compelling enough to warrant a purchase when it comes out in the U.S.?
I think I'd enjoy it a whole lot more if it was in English...it's just the bad collision detection which is making it frustrating for me. This is something that really need answering because it's making me not wanna play it.
It does look gorgeous though...

I've played SRPGs before and while I'm not the kind of person who can spend more than 1 or 2 hours at a time at these games I really dug the fact that this game had a new take on it and would have been fine if aiming wasn't manual and you could just simply enjoy the 3rd person/over-the-shoulder action. And as if the game wasn't slow enough throw in bad collision detection into the batter and you get one ugly cake. I might have to pass on this game, unfortunately.
as far as I can tell the weapons scatter pretty much(as expected from those old looking models - I think it might get less, if you level up your charas though), so there is a tactical and luck component to where you actually aim at, so in my opinion it's not gimmicky at all
the lock-on you requested seems like a dumbing down of the gameplay to me

The story is kinda of interesting I haven't got far enough in it so fully understand it, although you do meet a flying pig! :D

I'm going to assume that shooting is the bulk of what you do in the game, aside from movement. I just don't see myself enjoying having to roboticly aim for all of the characters you can end up controlling. I don't see the lock-on as dumbing down the gameplay since the gameplay itself is already so dumbed down in terms of the aim and shoot aspect.
Also, the weapon sounds feel weak and there's only a few things going on at a time since the game is turn based. This makes for what seems to be a very underwhelming game for a setting that's set in war and close-up 3rd person. I do realize it's an SRPG so it's only a minor issue with me. I'm just emphasizing that the aiming system takes no skill to do, and slows the pace of the game down which compound the minor issues with what I have seen from the game.
