Awesome :-)
What exactly is an "innuendo dive"?
This game uses Unreal Engine 3 (right?). If so, that would explain the shorter dev. time.
and IU dev 10 years till now.
It is set to contain 10 years worth of ideas from Yoshiharu Gotanda and is being designed "with the thought that the Xbox 360 would be able to realize our plans"
first 360 screen dated mid 2006
They developed it to use it in their further games for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
This shall come out on the ps3 OR MS allows me to trade my current 360 for an HDMI enabled one! (are 360's - newly built ones - more silent these days?).
OT: This is looking good indeed. Never been into JRPGs but after LO I ot to play this one...

As there are new 360's, there are new dvd-drives too. And my brother has definetily a more silent dvd-drive(BenQ) than the one I had(Samsung). I bought mine early 2007 and he bought his just recently (falcon).
I think Xbox-scene came to the conclusion that BenQ-drives are more silent than the earlier models solely due to better and more soundproof desing&manufacturing.
Probably the further the developement gets with 360, the more silent it becomes. Maybe the next revision (Jasper?) is more silent, I think it's coming out early this fall, after summer anyway :P
So far Capcom is the only japanese studio to take advantage of the hardware this gen. I suppose FF13 is gonna rock, though...
So glad its not adopted the classic jrpg turn based fighting system. Thats put me off every final fantasy (theres only so many times you be forced to sit through a cut scene during yet another random battle)
the graphics look very good and the gameplay fun, but the englsh voices are horrible *ugh* - I hope they have the japanese voice overs on the disc aswell
looks very pretty, i hope it has a story to match.
