For those complaining about the graphics, it's using the dated GC engine, so it's to be expected.
At least we can say each console has it's own Naruto series that offers something different (Wii - 4 player party battles, 360 - Platforming/Beat 'em up, PS3 - Adventure/Fighting).

Uhm ... perhaps the reason it doesn't look all that hot is because the hardware is a generation behind. Let's not make excuses for low-spec hardware.

Exactly my thoughts lol. Oh well, it's still likely gonna be a fun-ish game for Wii owners.

And that's all that matters, clearly. The sales>game quality.

Don't forget the Iwata signed cheque in the mail.

It's funny because as far as Naruto games go this team has created the best fighting engine seen on all 3 systems by far. I won't be buying this though as I own Shippiden Ex2 thanks to the freeloader Datel releases. It is the best Naruto fighter existing at the
moment and the PS3 game may not compare, especially since the story is years behind! Current up to date shippuden roster FTW

Why did I find this funny?

"We've said that Gears of War was graphically the best game have ever been made, well it looks like Pong compared to Crysis and some of the DX10 titles."

i dont know but it seems that the graphic looks good only in "in-game sequences".i think i cant compare this with the ps3 one,but ps3 can done sometin wat any other consoles didnt-can make an impressive in-game graphic no sequencess!so this game make no interests in me.ulti ninja3,uzumaki chronicles1,2...and like these games on ps2 makes me better sence.this is a bad imitation of any naruto game...oh and try to make less characters but better cell-shaded.oh and background looks terrible too( 5.0-story 6.5-gameplay 4.5-design 6.0-presentation...overall-5.5(

@neoryu:

Good, good.
It's a first for the series under this dev, to have a Hub/Village to fuck around, isn't it?

The village/world cell-shading doesn't really look beter than that on Rise of a ninja, less colourful and detailed, but this will probably kill it when they show the leaf village footage... in motion.
Trully remarkable Animation work.
