Disney Interactive Studios have put together a demo for Pure, which just hit the Marketplace and will go online on PSN soon. What a demo! I've never thought four-wheeling could be so fun, but this is some good stuff. Great graphics, great sound, awesome gameplay. You'll see notifications on the screen, "B lost" etc - you do tricks, and then fill the meter in the right corner. The more it's filled, the more advance tricks you can do. We captured gameplay videos for those unable to download the demo, enjoy.

Page 1 2 >>This is a kick ass game. Too bad it probably wont sell good at all, especially not in USA :/
well, I'll try the demo when it releases on the PSN
graphically the game is fantastic, but I'm really not sure wether or not I'll like the "do tricks to get boosts" system .. and in the courses shown it seems there is little driving skills involved

I downloaded it earlier, I'll try it in a bit.
whats with the black areas around the screen and the huge overuse of blur :(
Well, they probably are right. This looks better than Motorstorm , wich already strangely looked better than Motorstorn 2, go figure.
It's already on PSN, sadly not as nice looking at Motorstorm but at least it has tricks i guess.
i wanted to ask the same question... those black corners really hurt my eyes - i wont buy this because of them by the way the DEMO is only for gold users right ?
top graphics, super fun gameplay!
a few issues I have is that the Atv's have no feeling of weight in the gameworld, I think it's because you don't feel any bumps on the track so I didn't get the feeling I was hanging on for me life, also at times I found I could turn in let go of the stick for 2 seconds and it would still get around the corner wich I didn't like, because I would like to countersteer or something.
As a pure arcade experience though it's good, I won't get it as I don't like ATV but I'm sure it would be fun online or with splitscreen.
the boost system works finer than I thought, but the driving part really is too easy for my taste (well half of the time you are flying anyway), as is the demo - the computer enemies are no challenge at all here ( I hope this is just the "easy" mode).
btw my best lap time was 1:37.79
The SSX series would be a better comparison, especially SSX Tricky.
Motorstorm is really focused on the driving and battling with enemies, while here it's especially about timing the tricks correctly and enjoying the flight ;) .
