as long as the environmental hazards dont get too repetative per track, it could be an amazing arcade racer. but i think after one race of a track you're going to know what to expect the next time you race on it...thats my only worry atm. if they can keep them really varied and almost random, then it should work well.
absolutely awesome. had to laugh out loud when the plane crashed. excellent sense of speed as well!
interesting integration of the gui!
I want this! This is the type of arcaderacing game i've been looking for! When is this coming out?
Another great looking racer to look forward to. I only hope that they give the option to switch off the announcer and that HUD on the back of the car (Really don't like that look of that). They should also add in a sort of "takedown cam" that shifts the view to highlight an opponent that you destroy like in Burnout.
I just watched this video, expecting another trailer, and was so blown away by it, I had to watch it again right away.
Split/Second looks exactly like everything I had hoped Burnout Paradise was going to be. The only thing missing is the openworld design. However for now, I can live without that, so long as they deliver a truly over-the-top racing experience.
I hope Im wrong, and it turn out to be an awesome arcade racer
