There's some subtle product placement there ;)

Clunky animation, boring repetitive gameplay, and it looks too easy. Every game needs to have something DYNAMIC in it these days, and this game has nothing.

I finished it last weekend, it was fun.

From what I played it was good, but the fighting was kind of like a turn-taking game which turned me off because it would have been great to flight with fluid motion against tough opponents. I want it, but will probably just put in a trade request for it and wait.

I thought the same thing too, then I played it. It's not that it's not fun because there are some really cool moments but you honestly find yourself going, "If they only did this or that different" while you are playing. In many ways it's a third-person hand to hand to combat game so the game play mechanics should have been stellar.

Because Bourne doesn't miss by much you might still actually like it, but the point is it still missed being brilliant by just a few things. Things like a bit more complexity in Jason's animation, smarter AI and the need to mix things up for the boss battles. I found I was taking most bosses down with just a bit of timing.

It's still fun dc, but it could have been better.

There's nothing subtle about it all. lol

I guess we better get used to both ad and product placement in games because it's here to stay.

Never knew Jason Bourne was an ardent user of Mastercard. Bond uses what, Amex? :)

About the game

What's up?
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Melmoth: i'd imagine the player count is what's taken so long. besides MAG on Ps3, and planetside (which is kind of cheating) i don't know of any other game with a 100+ players outside of MMO's. (3 minutes ago)
  • toelessfoot
toelessfoot PUBGs popularity may have come a little too late in the development cycle for the next BF game though, map size really matters. (24 minutes ago)
  • toelessfoot
toelessfoot The first time I played PUBG DICE immediately came to mind as the dev who could potentially full realize the concept. (25 minutes ago)
  • alimokrane
alimokrane Battlefield and COD need to take a frigging break for a change, that's what's needed. (42 minutes ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth just surprised it took so many years for someone to adapt the concept into a game. (1 Hour ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @GriftGFX: i haven't played PUBG, but from what i've seen it looks like it's more or less lifted from the movie Battle Royale (which is again based on a novel). Things like having zones and drops. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX There's a thread on ERA about PUBG's influence and the origins of the game mode are fairly interesting. BR started in Minecraft. (3 Hours ago)
