PC Xbox 360 PS2 Xbox

As promised the french TV Channel Canal Plus has unveiled the first Splinter Cell: Double Agent trailer, and ubisoft also released this very low quality version. Better than nothing I guess...
Update : Added a version captured with a TV card.

Well if it isn't real time graphics, it looks very close to the screenshots a week or so back. And if it is real time, I wont believe it (although I'd like to) until I see it in action.

wow looks amazing..i'm lost as well..was that for the xbox360, rendered in real time and shot cinematically?

or just a pre rendered cg movie showcasing clips from the game or what the game would be like?

looks good..still can't get into liking sam fisher bald.. lol ..oh well it's the game that matters.

I really doubt that is real-time. It looks too good to be true.

Considering the graphical achievements that Ubisoft crafted on the Xbox, I have very little doubt that this isn't real-time. You can't forget how stunning Splinter Cell Chaos Theory looked on the Xbox. In fact, compared to most of the early Xbox360 titles currently out; Splinter Cell Chaos Theory could have been released for the Xbox360 and could very well stand it's ground next to them. Don't underestimate the power of any of these next gen consoles. The Xbox360 is not an Xbox. Microsoft developed a console that leaps far beyond todays consoles. Probably the biggest leap ever as far as the generation of consoles.

Fight Night 3?
That's with 2 characters on screen. With more characters and huge, ultra detailed enviroments, it's impossible.

The 360 is surely capable of that being real-time chances are it could since real-time scenes don't take up nearly as much space as pre-rendered stuff.

Look at those enchant arm real-time scenes they could do the same with the 360, but ubisoft has more time to work on this game than from had to work on enchant arm so they can pull off some really amazing things I'm sure. They have until september expect this game to be one of the most graphically impressive games around. Splinter cell chaos theory is still a very respected benchmark for even the most powerful of videocards with its use of HDR so expect this game to become a benchmark as well. Ubisoft mentioned that they do graphics just about better than anyone while mentioning how good kojima is, but then mentioned that they could very well be better than even him in that department.

They probably pushed the game back to avoid being in the same time frame as all those amazing march games. They'll sell, but not as well as they would've if they weren't in there with all those other games.

Look what ubisoft did with the xbox. Imagine what they'll do with the 360 :)

They mentioned scenes that are as good as cg that you can control maybe they were just showing some off like the train part etc and others. Its like a shen mue type deal called directed moments. Speaking of shen mue part III is finished and ready for a next gen system hopefully microsoft will get their hands on that one immediately.

well folks, i've just watched the larger version and i must say that looks just like CG to me (especially with that water-effects). but hope is there that it has been a mix of CG and realtime-cutscenes
