Boom Boom Rocket

It's Boom Boom Rocket's turn to be released this week on Xbox Live Arcade. I'v really enjoyed playing this game on the debug XBLA the last few weeks, so I really recommend giving this game a try. Thankfully you can download the demo for free! New images inside.
Update: XCN just sent us this nice interview of Craig Howard, Design Manager on BBR. As always it's an interesting read.

Boom Boom Rocket is often compared to Fantavision, a PS2 launch title, but except for the actual firewors these two titles don't have much in common. Boom Boom Rocket is much closer a Konami Rhythm-game than anything else, even if it has some elements that help differentiate it too. I'll let you watch this first video of my favorite song, followed tonight by another one, and you'll get even more footage in the next Gamersyde Diaries, hopefully released soon!
It's the first time we've been allowed to released some footage before a XBLA title was released, so many thanks to Bizarre and EA for this!

Ben of Bizarre Creation is back, this time with these four new images of the very nice Boom Boom Rocket, along with a video unfortunately only available on youtube.

Microsoft released a few new images of XBLA games during the GDC, first for the now well known Boom Boom Rocket, and also for the quite strange looking Schizoid.

Bizarre Creations put online a new studio update with more informations about the upcoming XBLA title Boom Boom Rocket, along with these 2 new screenshots.

It's a small surprise, but why not after all. Electronic Arts announced the release this spring of Boom Boom Rocket, a Xbox Live Arcade title developed by Bizarre Creations. It certainly looks like it shares a few things with Geometry Wars, but I'm certainly not complaining at all. First screen inside.
