Half-Life 2

Rise and shine, here are the ten first minutes of HL2 Xbox ! The long awaited port finally came in place before the 360's release, but even after a year or more, it still smell like a rush.

The console adaptation of the famous Half-Life 2 showcases with four new screenshots. Even if we're miles away from the original PC version, the result of this port is really satisfying and confirms the good impressions of the gameplay videos.

Half-Life 2, one of the last biggest Xbox games to come-out, showcases with these 9 screenshots. Nothing compares with the PC version of course, but the game doesn't look that bad... Well, actually it does look bad, but I'm sure it could have been worst. And, more than the graphics, the real pain in the ass is definitively the lack of any Xbox-Live option, even a simple deathmatch mode. A shame for sure, and not exactly the type of defect you'd expect from such a blockbuster. Valve is Valve...
[NB]: Just in case, it seems that most of these images are from May. So perhaps there is still hope for the graphics...

One more news was enough to prove me wrong I guess, but I don't think anyone will complain! I've managed to get my hands on an official Betacam tape of the trailers shows during the MTV 360 show, that my friend Damien (thanks again!) converted to a more commonly readable divx file. So you'll now be able to enjoy some slightly better quality version of these short teasers: PGR3, Gears of War, Saint's Row, NFS: MW and Tony Hawk. And as a bonus, some short gameplay from Half Life 2 and Tomb Raider Legend on Xbox.

The good old Xbox still has quite a few good days coming, and as proof here are some trailers of some of the upcoming games for the black and green console: Conker, Half-Life 2 and Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes.

Shann this time uploaded this Half-Life 2 on Xbox video. The game seems quite poor technically compared to the PC version, unfortunately.

This has ben a hard day for Xbox gamers, but here are a few very nice news so we do not finish the day in a bad mood.
