Dead Island: Riptide is officially announced with a bunch of screenshots showing that the archipelago has been completely flooded, making survival even more difficult. The city of Henderson and the jungle of Palanai Island will then only be explorable by boat and the weather conditions will affect visibility. A fifth character will join the original cast to face new types of atrocities and mutations. The survivors will often have to defend their base and protect it with fences for example.
Deep Silver today announces first details about Dead Island Riptide.
The survivors of the zombie-apocalypse on the once beautiful island resort of Banoi escaped in a helicopter to the safety of a military ship. When a furious storm hits and the virus suddenly spreads throughout the crew, the nightmare starts all over again, leaving hope drowning in the rising tides. Devastated by a monsoon, the island of Palanai is crawling with new zombie mutations. A fifth character with an all-new skillset will join the team, providing much needed support. Additional multiplayer communication features and brand new hub defense missions will test the survivor’s teamplay skills.
Dead Island Riptide will be released in 2013 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.
I kinda agree with you though. If you want BF4 + Naval Strike in 2015.. get premium edition when it's on sale. (56 minutes ago)
@scoobs0688: Some people do. I don't think you're being entirely fair. You're on of the users here that would defend Dragon Age: Inquisition, but EA is only DICE + Sports? :P (56 minutes ago)
@PT_G4MER: I don't want any of those things. (1 Hour ago)
@PT_G4MER: then you ocasionally get these free DLCs. And still gives you discounts and several-hours trials of main games. It's a pretty good deal in my book. (1 Hour ago)
@scoobs0688: it's 30$/year. Even if it was only for FIFA and BF(it's not) I don't see how it's not a good deal. Nevermind the fact that you also get UFC, Titanfall, DA:I, NFS or PvZ (1 Hour ago)
