360 = 299 + 100 HDDVD = 399 | Wii = 199
Wii60 = 399 + 199 = 600$

Would be cool to get some similar angles and lighting situations.
Maybe when the new Halo comes out we can work on that.
Inscrit depuis 7288 JoursSaid they are saving their poly budget for other things.... I can't friggin wait to see what the hell that is. Wait till we see this baby in motion gonna be gorgeous during actual gameplay with the effects they said will blow away most of the ones shown in the trailer.
lol damn new master chief looks much better than the spartan model in doa4 :P
Never judge a game too harshly via screenshots or videos, because they are in no way capable of properly representing what the game truly looks like were you to see it running in front of you on a 360

Inscrit depuis 7367 JoursThis reminds me of my April 24th thread, and this Halo 3 fan art/render. There are also some nice fan art out there:

I must say: Bugnie surpassed the quality of the fan render movie and this art.

You can see some of my tech comments here. I think the Stonehand comment about the dust particals being textures is probably wrong based on Bungie's comments (GPU driven particle system) and seeing how Kameo was able to generate 1M particles on screen with no impact. This is something the 360 should do well, and ATI has demoed this technique (ToyShop) in realtime with rain, so I am not sure I agree with that conclusion.
Anyhow, looks like Bungie has done a good job :D
