Nice, except trees, which look distinctly last gen (at least some). Also, some self shadow problems. Despite that, it is very pretty game. Oddly it renders at 1080i native (same as doa4).

Well those are the results of the use of a tweaked kingdom under fire engine. Should've made an engine from scratch then again this title WAS meant to be a launch title so its all good I guess.

I don't believe that Optimus, the KUF engine is modified enough to make the tree's look good, it was probably lack of time to model them correctly.

PGR3 uses a modified PGR2 engine but still manages to have nice tree's.

That's because PGR3 uses SpeedTree technology.

My point was, it's not the KUF engine it's the lack of software, if they used speed tree with N3 the trees would have looked better, may have had an inpact on framerate though.

It was more to do with lack of development time why the tree's look bad.
