So, it seems that the MP demo for Lost Planet is now live on the European marketplace--according to our friends at neoGAF. Not sure why we don't get it now too--but if you can grab it, go for it..it's under "Featured Downloads"

Hopefully we get it later today as well..boo!

Has anyone heard about this?

Supposed to come out tomorrow in the U.S. with one map-

But we just put up HD vid of the -other- multiplayer map (Dilapidation) you get on Friday if you pre-order the game.

Pretty nice--much more vertical map than pirate fortress, lots of grapple hookage.

I'll put down a pre-order for the CE if I get another map on friday..is this legit?

Check featured downloads? Strange..people over there seem to see it on the EU marketplace. It's not up on the USA / Japanese marketplace for sure..

Some people seem to be downloading it with silver EU accounts even, I might have to make one..or wait a day :/

This game won't be about Multiplayer for me, it better have a decent SP mode or else i won't bother. (can't say the SP demo was all it was cracked up to be either)

played for about an hour. it looks good, controls nicely but for some reason something is missing:"FUN". unfortunately it's not! Hopefully the single player will turn out to be good which will be the main reason I will be getting the game anyway.

I like it. Things get pretty frantic when you're using the grapple hook while fighting someone. The only thing I don't like is that annoying orange flash when something blows up.

i love the game apary from the way you turn.........it takes ages to turn and i hate the 90* turns...guns are amazing

I played couple of matches now and the multiplayer is very cool to play, but I am still gonna get this game because of its SP mode and a MP for the bonus. It kind of sycks that after the match is over it takes you right back to the menu.
The game have changed, meaning the grappling hook looks more "deadly" and looks more of a real wired with a hook. The gun sound and the look of the bullets have changed. It says "Select team" with an X for blue and B for Red, I kept pushing and holding it did not do anything.
Anyways, the online was great I kept getting on the 1st and 2nd on the list of 16 which was awesome.
And I am really glad that the melee is in, BUT it doesnt knock them out, just like a "out of control" for 1-2 seconds.

Overall, its good and I want to see what those 7 skins for online looks like, I know there is cooler ones.

The game is awesome, I just played elimination and I got 25 kills. The only problem I have with the game is that the controlls are kinda loose, and the running is sorta slow.
