Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

The latest issue of Game Informer has a spread on Frontlines: Fuel of War, developed by Kaos Studios. Announced last April, Frontlines: Fuel of War is a military FPS featuring vehicular combat and advanced weaponry. The biggest tidbit of information, however, is revealed in the game's description. Should you walk by a copy of Game Informer in your local grocery store, flip to page 72 and focus your eyes directly under the title: "Up to 64-player via Xbox Live." You may be compelled to rub your eyes and unleash a hearty "whaa?" It's understandable. So there you go, from some of the same people that brought you Battlefield 2 comes 64 player madness.

Frontlines has the potential to be the best shooter this year, easily. If anyone can make a better battlefield it's these guys--and if it weren't for the way EA and DICE handled BF2 it would easily be my favorite shooter ever.
It really wouldn't be very hard to support large games on Xbox live if they had dedicated servers, not running off of Xboxes but rather dedicated server software. Even running dedicated servers off of your own Xbox is a good start--but most people don't have the bandwidth to be serving 64 player games that well anyway.
I'll most likely be playing this on PC, but KAOS is promising that this will be the same game on consoles, not some toned down port. Regardless of player size, this is one to watch. BF2 scales beautifully between 16 and 64 players..I expect the same from Frontlines.
Since 7226 DaysThese range from persistent campaigns (Chromehounds), gang matchmaking (Saint's Row) to other features like Gotham TV, Save n Share (PGR and Burnout respectively). Plus the paid MMORPGS's as you would expect.
They have a program for it but I'm not sure how viable from a financial point of view dedicated servers on a MASS scale would be on Xbox Live. Yes, we pay for Live but it's the developer who would have to invest in the servers and I don't know if they get a cut or help with running them, they're just co-located.

Since 7306 DaysI would also like some body to design a lock in feature to stop the quiters though.
Take one 360, add some chopped PS3, stir in some Wii, a sprinkling of DS Lite. Enjoy :)

Since this is basically a PC game being tailored to a multiplatform enviroment, I'm hoping it more or less works like a PC game. I also hope they add party features on Xbox live though, to make it easier to get the most out of that enviroment.
