I've been waiting on some new news on this one since they went dark in early 2005. Still am anticipating this game a whole lot, partly because I've made this trip in real life (New York to Vegas in 48 hours). I wonder if they will be taking the northern route or the southern route in the game - or will they leave it up to the player to decide which way to travel?

Something else that I like about what I see in this game. There seems to be a sad misconception that you cannot do high detail graphics in a streaming, sandbox world. If anything, 2 Days 2 Vegas completely shoots down that erroneous hypothesis. If a picture is worth 1000 words, then the following in-game shot says it all.

Sorry I dont believe those are going to be the actual graphics when you play. When it comes from a Dev with no noticable achievements then I am even more doubtful.

That ain't fair Eddy I mean look at what the developers of Project Offset I mean they started with 2 guys and made one of and maybe THE most beautiful next-gen engine. The game looks great, the gameplay sounds like fun and they showed what they could pull off on the next-gen consoles. So why not give this developer a chance?

Do they actually say that they're in game screenshots anywhere? There's a big difference between using in game assets and actually using your engine to generate the screenshots. I have a real hard time believing anything here is actually a screenshot. The image quality is way too high.
