Video Card: 100% DirectX(R) 9.0c-compliant AGP/PCIe 256 MB onboard memory hardware T&L-capable video card with Shader Model 3.0 support and the latest drivers (NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT+ / ATI Radeon X1300+)
Free Disk Space 6 GB of uncompressed hard disk space (plus 600 MB for the Windows swap file)


Took this off gaf minimum system requirements???? Shader Model 3.0 support and all that ram?

Wishlist: PGR4 with a FF wheel, 2K Legends Football, and Halo 3 with an XFPS controller. And I can dream that Halo Wars will be a Battlezone PC clone...

I have the game and I can honestly say the requirements are insane.

I'm Running a Dual Core 3.4,1.5 Gigs of DDR2 533 and my one weak link is a 6800gt video card and it runs like ass. even when not on high settings and on what i consider very mediocre resolution.

6800GT has crap SM3.0 performance. Anyhow, he should try 1024x768 with no AA and AF and pay SPECIAL attention to texture resolutions and shadow detail as the GT has only 256MB of memory (running it like a card that has 512MB is gonna cause pain). Also turn off HDR as performance is craptastic with FP16 on NV40.

SM3.0 a system requirement? That's some shoddy PC development.. especially for a game like this. Who are they marketing it for here, exactly?

The performance is apparently TERRIBLE even with a monster rig, tiny draw distance as well that affects chase mission! Great stuff!

Well the thing is, the cel-shaded Spidey game they did was pretty good in the end. The pre-release version of that I saw had issues but it turned out alright. They certainly nailed the swinging down.

I can spend a long time swinging around a decent representation of New York, but I can't spend £50 for that alone. We'll see. Movie first :D

Well ive got the game aswell , ive got an athlon x2 4600 and a 7800 gtx and it is decent in 800x600 resolution!

Terribly optimised for PC.

lol i started thinking the same. If Spiderman 3 requires this much then everyone looking forward to crysis can pretty much forget about it :D
