I remember reading somewhere that it's like Splinter Cell on 'roids. He can move quickly and do some pretty brutal attacks with that big knife of his. It's supposed to be a much more action oriented take on stealth games.

This is sort of like Splinter Cell, but yet it isnt :S.

Think about the movie "The Hunted" (one of my favorites) with Benicio Del Toro and Tommy Lee Jones.

It is stealth thats for sure, but the killing it self is fast and brutal. It's not one of those hide in the shadows for ammount of time and just go around and snap necks or "tap" them behind their neck and make them sleep.

You actually break their necks, stabb them many times, it has very awesome choreograhy that feels cinematic.
And then there is like these "boosts" that even goes on top on that and makes you go around kill your enemies crazy, and that is when the whole "The Hunted" with Benicio Del Toro comes in.
For those who have seen it, in the very beginning, he slice some guys throat so many times that its sickening.

I for one hope it turns out great.

" Real next gen continues!" Yeah,if real next-gen started with FEAR...I just think the graphics look a lot like that game and not that great to be honest. The character models have that same wierd glossy look. Hopefully this game wont be as repetitive though.

What do you mean by glossy? To me, PDZ was glossy; this doesn't look glossy at all.

Not overly, and Im not rippin this game or anything. For example look at the soldier who has been knifed in the first pic. His leg and jacket has that slight sheen to it. But you know what, so does pretty much every game so I dunno why I brought that up. Its just that looking at these pics reminds me a lot of FEAR. I think its a stretch to call this real next gen is all.
