not a very fair comparison as the X360 is a newer game so ofcourse new technology is going to be implemented, when they get both games in a comparison then i will aknowlege any difference.

Yes but the user set everything to full high and the comparison means he/she was using the latest graphics card available. This is from Ubisoft, why would they use ATI 9800

Sheps your an ass! being such an ass (slightly retarded as well I believe) your "fair comparison" theory shall be ignored by all with an I.Q. above 36.
By the way I have played the PC version on an Athlon FX cpu,a 512meg GeForce 7800GTX, and 2 gigs of system memory with everything turned up at 1600x1200 and it didn't look nearly as good as the 360 version so take your comparison and shove it!! HA HA

To all those compareing PC to Console hardware and Bitching about those other screenshots

That looked incredible!! Looking at the fucking textures on the seat of that boat and the waves I think I need to change. Lets hope the geometry and lighting are just as impressive.

lol your funny!!! i have done that, but it keeps on downloading a direct.php file which when opened in a web browser, just list files but no .mov media file?

it just opens my download manager for a .mov file.

Not sure what to tell you.
(maybe security settings?)

Far Cry on PC was released in March 2004, that's 2 years ago.. Whoever made that video is comparing it to a new March 2006 version of the game on the Xbox 360, I mean doh! Offcourse it looks nicer, if it didn't it would put the new version and Xbox 360 to shame..

But that wasn't the point of the video I think.. I think the point of this video was to show the differences between the old Far Cry and the new.. It's just a shame some people are interperting it again as if the Xbox 360 kicks PC ass, unfortunatly..

Amen on that one, I was one of many looking down on this game because of screenshots in a way, not practicing what I preach in regards to not judging a next gen game by screenshots or videos.
