WOW! We need this in 720p! Other games have done Nurburgring's layout well before, but PGR3 really nails the feel with the cars, sounds, the AWESOME cabin view, the lighitn (notice at some points the front trees are shadowed and the back taller ones are being hit by the sun). The view distance is great, the sense of speed is excellent exactly mimics real life. I really like how PGR3 really mimics the tree densities well. When Nurburgring is sparse the game is sparse; when there is a forest there is a forest.

This is why PGR3 so far is my most wanted Xbox360 title. It is unbelievable what Bizzarre did with PGR3, even more impressive it was an upgraded engine from PGR2. I cannot say enough nice things about PGR3. Next gen graphics, next gen sound, great features and excellent online gameplay. Maybe a sparse SP to a degree, but I am an online gamer due to the replay online has over SP. Great game--next to a current gen title it kicks butt.

Woah. A shame the real video is from an overcast day though, would love to see just how real the lighting is in PGR3.

Hehe Acert you ever seen pgr 3 being run on a 360??? Its amazingly impressive to say the least.

The amazing cockpit view is what makes the fact that this game is at 30fps not mean a thing.

Yes I have. I have played the 360, I just don't own one at home ;) PGR3 is so far may fav title. Have not played a ton, but it is very nice. Cabin view is the biggest advancement in the genre in a loooong time.

They really recreated that track well, almost identical!
But about the view distance in PGR3, I do get trees in the back poppin up out of the blue, it's not a big deal though, but I did notice it.
It's probably a "feature" only my weird x360 get's offcourse....
The driving experience is amazing, especially the cockpit view.
I always used to use the 3rd "person" view cause I hated the other available views, but they really nailed it with this cockpit view, and I hope other racing games will pick this up too.
Lol, I have a friend who is pretty much a pc fanboy, but everytime I go over to his place, I have to bring my x360 with pgr3, and he can't get enough of it, and that means something!

I thought it was 1024x600?

It would have been nice to get tiling enabled too. And some trees are uuuuugly. Besides no tiling it seems either some TVs -- or how they are setup -- have more jaggies than others. (I wonder if this will be a theme... TV scaling and setup impacting the impression people get... they still have not fixed the local walmart here).

In all minor complaints.

  • Melmoth

Melmoth In many ways it gave me a Last of Us vibe. Well written, strong voice actors and presentation, but the gameplay didn't hit the spot for me. I can still understand why so many people like those games (10 Hours ago)

  • Melmoth

Melmoth the vista by running it in 21:9 aspect ration (even though i have a 16:9 tv), which gives more picture information on both sides and worked well for the horizontal design of the level design. (10 Hours ago)

  • Melmoth

Melmoth Having the close over-the-shoulder camera works great for the seamless-camera style presentation they went for, but it's problematic for spacial awareness in larger fights. It did help a bit to widen. (10 Hours ago)

  • Melmoth

Melmoth The mostly two-dimensional level design and not-as-sharp combat combined with a lot of polished animated auto-platforming and transitions made it good, just not a great gaming experience for me. (10 Hours ago)

  • Melmoth

Melmoth to play it. There's no doubt an enormous amount of work put into all the small details and craftmansship in all assets of the game. Very polished presentation. But coming straight off Sekiro, the game (10 Hours ago)

Melmoth @Sdarts: I had a very similar experience. I got it for PC on release. I already had the game on PS4 for a few years, but still shrinkwrapped. So i thought the high quality PC release was a good way.. (10 Hours ago)

  • Sdarts

Sdarts Anyway, just my stupid opinion and it's not meant to be an attack or hurt anyone, I just had a 8/10 experience. That is all. Though the game does have serious flaws. (1 Day ago)
