Level 5 is the max so it appears, and you can jump 15 meters, which I believe is almost 50 feet! :D
Not sure if this is 100% correct, but it is from an recent dev blog.
Btw, it's an interesting read, you should dev check it out...

A level 5 rating will not be shown as a star, and that's why achievements only mention level 4. If you pay attention, there's only room for 4 stars in that little box, so that's it. So basically, you get 4 stars and then max out your skills that would be the equivalent to level 5.
And yeah, according to google, 15 meters is 50 feet, damn!!!!!!!! What's the max in the demo? 25? And has this being verified to be the max? I guess I'll try to find out.

They say the initial shipment which is huge, will have beta access. Since I'll be buying this game from day one, I think there will be no problem in getting a beta.

Inscrit depuis 8047 JoursJust cause demo was downright awful in my opinion. I got shot at constantly in the demo an never died. How realistic is that. In this Crackdown demo, the police are always in a shotout right outside where the cars exit. Wouldn't the gangs figure, they are going to get killed in a standoff outside of police HQ. They always do. The vehicle control is decent. The graphics yet stylized are OK, nothing special, and the gameplay is sub-par.
I thought the AI was sub-par, you can't go into any of the buildings. Here you have all of these buildings in this city, and you can't go into any of them, at least not any of the doors I've tried have worked. The boss battles seem very easy, might have been the difficulty setting I had it on. These are just my opinions, but this game is not my cup of tea. I liked Dead Rising much better from an open ended sandbox game format. Dead rising was really good, except for no co-op and only one save state.
If you've seen great examples of AI, give them to me, or if you can go into all of the buildings, tell me which doors to try or what buildings. I've tried this demo 3 or 4 times until the time ran out, but it isn't convincing me yet. Battlestations Midway is a better demo to me it seems, for the demo of the month.

And remember, this also means you'll be able to run faster as well, and that means you can jump quite a bit further as well! :)

Inscrit depuis 7227 JoursThis has become clear to me after visiting the Crackdown forum.
Refering at that dev blog I posted here earlier it appears that the so called "level 5" is infact 4 stars, as in:
level 1 is 0 stars...level 2 is 1 star...level 3 is 2 stars...level 4 is 3 stars and level 5 is 4 stars.
So that other thing he mentioned in that blog about being able to jump 15 meters high was nothing but an exaggeration (I however call it a lie).
So, the only thing that will happen when you max out your abilities (4 stars and fill up the meter) is that you'll unlock an achievement, you won't get an extra final power up or whatever.
It's a bit of an disappointment, but I can live with it nonetheless...
