Sweet. the end of the trailer is like the beginning of FF7. Dammit, why dont they just go on and make FF7 over...I mean they got the movie, they got like 4 other games based AROUND it, they got CGI video of parts that happend in the game, EVERYTHING BUT THE GAME!!!! bastards

Indeed it does. SE just likes to tease with the false hopes and Lies! But seriously, judging by their recent remake blitz frenzy, a FF7 remake is pretty much a given some point in the near future. Now which console/gen(Nintendo or Sony) that happens is up in the air.

or hell you never know, could end up on a freaking Mobile!

Isnt bahamut sort of purply ? I cant even remember :D. You're definately right, this year is packed up with RPG goodness, Blue Dragon, lost odyssey, eternal sonata, mass effect, naruto and this ... what a great year to be a gamer that's for sure and what a bad year to be a poor gamer :D

lol DS...wait r u joking? If they did remake it it no doubt be on PS3. Theres no way in hell they're gonna half-ass it on a hand-held system, do u realize how pissed ppl would be? I would bomb their studio, literally. Cause u know, the only real reason for a remake is to play thru the game with the best gfx possible, if it wasnt for that, u can just play the original.

SE don't care about their fans they care about sales, and obviously it would sell more on the DS because it has a larger following than the PS3 which is pretty lame still.

it's stupid for them to want to make money? :p

a FF7 remake on the DS would still technically look better than its PS counterpart. I would rather have it on the Wii though if they decided to bring it to a Nintendo platform, which would look a lot better again than its PS counterpart.

I can't remember correctly, but I believe they said it was a 20-30 hour game if you kind of rushed through it, but a 50+ one if you like did everything. I'll try to have to find where I read that, not 100% sure.

But for the brave and the daring--the game's many side quests will jack that number up to a whopping 100 hours, giving some of the main entries a run for their money.
