I must have missed like a ton of shit, because I have seen nary an explosive aside from my frag grenades. I'm becoming a beast with this silenced pistol because I haven't found much else better. Ugh, I need to upgrade.
Remote det packs came with my augmented edition of the game, don't know if you can buy them without it...

Hmm, I'd heard about some equipment differences in the editions. Would've been helpful if it had stated what those were instead of just the standard artbook.

Yeah becasue I bought the Augmented edition I was given 4 RDPs and some AUDs as well. Not to mention I can buy more whenever there are any available from vendors.

Yep.
Those auto-hack devices can open ANY locked up system, doors to computers, just awesome stuff, though they are super rare.

One thing I noticed during hacking yesterday is with RB button (360 controller) you can quick stop an alert detection IF you have STOP items, it will gain you like 5 seconds breathing room if you have seconds left from the core upload.
I have tons of nuke or whatever they are called, like 27 or something, I wish we could re-map the items to RB so I could decide which item to have as quick-use.

Yeah, she wasnt that great tbh. The set up was cool, with the water and steam...very ghost in the shell, but Her pattern didnt change for me. She'd run at you, you'd shoot her, she'd run away, then she'd run at you again from the same place, you'd shoot her...rinse repeat.

I have my upgraded revolver to thank for taking her out so quick tho. Only took like, 7 shots. And i have 60 more bullets for any other boss to come. Explosive rounds and damage upgrades FTW.

I have all the augments i need now tho. Nothing that is left seems like it'd be all that usefull, so now i have 7 praxis and nothing to do with them.

I am nearing the end now :(

I love Eidos Montreal, looks like the HR team did a great job brining together a great team. Really looking forward to Theif 4 now :D

I wonder if it will be a PS4 & XBox 720 title? I hope they implement real time lighting and shadowing for their future series.

Yeah she was way too easy, i used the typhoon to own her ass!, Do you have the Icarus aug?, i wondering how useful it is in combat as you can trigger a stun wave when you land next to enemies?

Combining mines with gas, stun, shooting everything I got with the heavy rifle...etc.
I got Typhoon but it seems useless to her.

She was easy. Just shoot her as she runs right at you. Then wait for her to do the exact same thing over and over. Took less then a minute to kill her.

I do shoot her, but she is "sneaky, very sneaky" /Mr Deeds "butler" lol

Also, I cant dodge her slide, really annoying.

Use the mines to stun her

Combine EMP nade with the mine and go hide behind one of the many super computers. Then place the mines on both corners, as she runs up to you the mine will activate and stun her....keep stunning her with your stun gun and finally take her out with a melee

Ez boss fight :P

man I had so much ammo during that part....guess you weren't hoarding ammo and supplies. Sucks :P

I opened every locker or room and injured as many soldiers as I could to steal their supplies.

Trust me, second playthrough I will go all out commando.
Have all the augments like armor, icarus jumps, typhoon, sprint...etc. basically fighting "machine" lol

At the part in the TYM penthouse, with 1 battery and a gas Nade is going to be interesting. I've also been playing all sneaky so its getting harder when I come across what amount to forced combat situations. Also going for the acheivement of not killing anyone bar boss fights so especially tough.

I got Heavy rifle, shotgun, stun weapon (extremely useful weapons!), handgun, SMG, mines, two grenades...thats it!

I will beat her fucking cybernetic ass for sure, I love her cloaking and sprinting though, man!

Well I have a tranq rifle and a stun gun but they just keep waking each other up, 1 battery means I can't cloak and sprint by them before it runs out and a vent I found leads just down one level not out of the penthouse at all, I am indeed going to have to think like Big Boss to get out of this one!

When I use stun gun, I make sure they are alone so I can quickly drag their bodies behind something so nobody would notice, I mean thats the classic thing to do.

And tranq rifle is meh IMO, I always try to sneak as close as possible, so snipers is out of the question for me because I dont need them and I have more space in the inventory.

One thing that really annoys me is the game pulls off a Vanquish.
How can a simple takedown remove energy bar, extremely stupid which annoys me. I mean cloaking, sprinting, punching through wals, Typhoon weapon...etc. sure, but simple takedowns, dumb design!
Yes yes, balance and challenge, but its bullshit IMO.

The ability to break down items would've been appreciated. That way I could break down these frag mines I have and make a gas one instead.

If you dont alert the 2-3 guys, they wont call for their friends to show up ;)

But seriously, usually when there is 8-9 you can still outmanuever them with some Jack Bauer/Sam Fisher style.

I have managed to escape like 10 alerted enemies so its possible.

Sometimes, if you want to make sure you got enough room to move around, if there is anything to grab and throw, do it when no enemy is looking.
Throw it at the opposite side or somewhere far away from your route, usually works lol.

The game has alot of depth which is why I love it.

But man, my urge to not shoot and be an badass like Adam was in the CGI is just boiling!

Think i'm almost done. Maybe 30 minutes left at most. Cant beleive the second to last 'level' was the dock they showed right when it was announced. Crazy. It'd be like demoing uncharted 1 with the level where the zombies appear.

I have 12 praxis now....FUCKING TWELVE. And i have absolutely no use for them. I'm non lethal, so things like no recoil or the typhoon system are useless. Even the stealth systems like marking enemies is useless when you have a 50m radar and can see through walls. I bought the icarus landing system but that has been a waste. Can punch through walls, only to learn it's a lethal takedown if you do. Seriously, there are too many redundant augs. There where a few in the past games, but i dont recall ever having a stockpile of augs that i didnt need. I mean 12....jesus christ.

Despite that tho, it is By far my GOTY so far, and i can only realistically see 2 games bettering it. Batman arkham city and uncharted. But man is it gonna be tough to beat. I love this game.

What augs do you have? you only have one cell? man u should def get more cells next time.

Nearing the end now, good game, joint with LA Noire for me. With SKYRIM\BAA\GOW3\BF3 and FORZA4 still to play my GOTY is still up in the air.
