Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
Loakum By FAR, the upcoming Game of Thrones King’s Road was the Game of the Show! It plays like God of War Ragnarok! :) (> 3 Months ago)

Yeah...the unfortunate thing is my PC is a shitty Compaq. For the most part, it was such a hassle to attempt to upgrade in any way. I'm never buying one of these cookie-cutter pieces of trash again.
Everything else I use my computer for I can already manage with a 1.7Ghz Athlon 2100 and 512mb of ram. Powerhouse!

As reported earlier in the news, the whole game is running very smoothly and free of lag. Even with a lot of monster crowds on the screen - and there were huge crowds - there was no slowdown or other problems visible. We also never experienced any crashes or bugs. But looks like the demo is capped for 2 players in the same game maximum.
So we set off and found monsters ... lots of monsters ... asking for our attention. The health globes were a welcome sight, although there weren't many enemies that could hold out against the might of two barbarians playing together. Most battles happened in the same order - which was in no way boring. We had both the same skills in the beginning ("Ground Stomp", "Cleave", "WarCry" and some passives), but as chrys and myself both got a level up, he selected "Frenzy" and I took "Hammer of Ancients".
The switch between the active skills was no problem at all, no matter if you switch via Tabulator or the scroll wheel, its very smooth. In our opinion, most of the skills do AoE, which rocks when you are surrounded by a horde of Fallen Ones. For single, mightier opponents "Hammer of Justice" was the skill of choice, as it knocked enemies down and so for example blocked their ability to teleport away. Through the usage of the different skills gameplay is/fells very fast.
The rage globes hadn't much effect on the skills. After only a few hits we always had enough rage to deliver a good amount of extra damage and never had the problem that skills were unusable because of not enough rage. Probably a question of balancing. We also noticed in point of balancing, that the announced number of 4 players max for multiplayer is more than enough. Even with two people there is a LOT happening on the screen, so chances are high that you will loose the overview with five or more players on the screen.
The game was a lot of fun, although we both played the same class and were forced to use the same skills. If the enemies are torn apart and thrown around you, while you force your way through even more enemies, you just can't stop grinning. The nearly half an hour we could play was over before we could notice it and we would love to play more. To sad that the game release is probably not even near.

Here's my checklist;
1. At least 1 character reveal hopefully 2.. (fat chance)
2. Some HD footage of the desert environment and hopefully another one as well (fat chance)
3. The announcement of a demo that will be released next week.. (No way in hell )

So some logical thinking would present us with the following;
We have these classical arche-types accounted for;
1. Melee warrior - Barbarian
2. Mage - Wizard
3. Summoning spellcaster - Witchdoctor.
---
That leaves the following;
Ranged attacker - Probably a ranger/amazon
Holy warrior - paladin/monk/priest
Although it would be nice to have some kind of mix of those 2 like a fallen paladin or something

The best thing for me is the art direction. Absolutely stunning.
I been waiting many years for this game, i am in no rush for it to be out this year or next, i have waited long enough as it is so few more years wont hurt, but been curios anything at all on release date ?
The best thing for me is the art direction. Absolutely stunning.
Is it true what i have heard we gotta pay 8.99 a month for a battle.net sub to play this ? if so that fucking sucks unless WoW gets included on that.
I think i have stood in poo

I think that there's no one here who doubts the quality of the final product... (same goes for almost all of blizzards products)
I don't know if you guys saw the single player hands on of star craft 2 but that looked freaking insane!
Btw thanks for the vids Iso.. those gave some interesting info on the quest and equipment windows!

Game informer;
Diablo III
• We got our hands on Diablo III in a demo that let us pick between male and female versions of the Witch Doctor, Barbarian and Wizard classes. We picked a female Witch Doctor.
• The interface will be familiar to Diablo veterans, with few changes to the game’s controls or shortcut keys.
• The Witch Doctor plays like a Necromancer from Diablo II, with a little hint of WoW’s Warlock class thrown in for good measure. After spawning, we immediately summoned two of her zombie dog pets (the maximum she could have in play at her skill level). They were so effective during our session that we made sure that both of them were in combat at all times. They dealt out decent damage while distracting enemies.
• As enemies attacked the zombie dogs, we held back and used our Firebomb spell. It packed a wallop on the enemies we faced and also had a little AoE damage, too. When enemies figured out our presence, we used a Horrify spell, which frightened them back temporarily. It was a relatively mindless strategy, but it was effective and oddly satisfying.
• The levels we played took place in a desert environment, with plenty of nasty little critters and occult-themed villains. We broke up a chanting circle at one point (by killing the occultists, of course), and the lone survivor gave us a quest. All the while, our pets were laying waste to a dozen or so well-animated baddies.
• We wouldn’t be surprised if the build had been heavily tweaked for demo purposes. Enemies dropped a ridiculous amount of health potions, and in 15 minutes we managed to score a flawless amethyst, a topaz, two rings, an amulet and a helmet. We’re confident that Blizzard will once again strike a nice balance between holding out and keeping players chasing that “one more minute.”
• If you had reservations about the game’s reveal and what was interpreted by some fans to be a drastically new art style, fear not. It’s more of the same Diablo you remember, only it’s fully 3D. No rainbows were spotted during our demo.
