E3: Tomb Raider Underworld images

This may have been true for you, but I can assure you the vast majority of people (read: mostly guys) weren't buying Tomb Raider for the epic treasure hunt.

What a load of crap! Especially as far as the 1st game was concerned. It didn't win awards for being "sexy", lol! And I seriously don't think that many people have bought the games over the years because they're attracted to the main character model. I know most of the games are meant to be crap, although I haven't played most of them because of Sony, but they probably kept selling in large numbers because people kept hoping they'd get good again (or maybe they're actually better than the haters claim?) and because of all the advertising. (Yes, I know a lot of the marketing used Lara's "sex appeal" but like I said, I just don't believe that there are that many people sad enough to buy the game purely because of that.)

I'm going to have to agree with Corellianrogue on this one. I can't see anyone spending a justified 50 dollars(When TR1 was first released) just because they wanted to see polygonal breasts.
