Awesome vid, looks stunning (no more blacked out windows yay !!). Also, he talked about swapping out time of day lighting and it being no problem....doesn't nescessarily mean night racing or anything though.
I don't know about that. I haven't seen a single frame of video where I can consluively say that. You could always see through, but what could you see through INSIDE the cars was bad, not there, no interior shadowing, etc. I'm not going over this again, fanboys will show the comparison shots at one point I guess.

Sure, theres no 100% proof that it's been fixed, but in those vids you can see through the cars windows and out the other side, you can see the road on the other side of the car. In other FM you couldn't during a race, so either way it's a massive improvement, the windows don't change tint either, they're still clear, although somewhat obscured by the awesome reflections.

Any info on how the online MP is handled in FM4? Because the hopper system introduced in FM3 was a major gamebreaker for me (and looking at the very poor playernumbers online in FM3 I wasn't the only one).. It took so much fun out of the game for me I eventually stopped playing the game.. All I want is to be able to host and join custom public lobbies so I can race certain cars on cretain tracks I want, for example race Mini's only on a some cool mountain track.. I don't want that crap very limited hopper system like in FM3.. If FM4 still uses that same restriced hooper system I will pass on it, no matter how tempting the rest of the game is to me.. And it is tempting (especially the cool garages and Top Gear stuff etc).. So plz plz plz let them go back to the old public custom lobby system.. If they do, I'll buy for sure..
The return of 'Custom Lobbies' has already been confirmed and car clubs too :)

If this is true, then WOOHOOO!!!!!!!! :D Good to see they saw their failure and went back to the old and trusted online system..

Checking if my 360 still works (haven't used it for many months).. It will have to run FM4 later this year..

Well that top gear test track video gives me A LOT of hope--almost enough to make it definitive but I know better.

That's just beautiful. And look at the track detail. It's a track hard to make look good, but GT's version looks just atrocious compared to this -- which seems to be the norm with any track in both games anyways.

It looks just as barren as GT5's version imo, but with worse lighting judging from the new photomode pics. The trees in Forza's version do look better since it's not one whole bitmap though.

Top gear track is ok but the switzerland track lighting is still not realistic. It should something like this:

But otherwise the graphics look better this time. Last game had a cartoonish look to it.

They haven't changed the cockpit view. I know they have got only 5 new tracks. may be night racing, day/night cycle.?

Probably not. Most likely it's just some day/dusk type of thing, at least that more what it sounds like so far.

Only FOV is changed otherwise cockpit view is same as Forza3.
