Now this is my kind of FPS shooter.
Dark with gritty atmosphere sci-fi, nice! Reminds me of movies like Pitch Black/Chronicles of Riddick.
The graphics is just amazing for a pre-alpha and I am sure it is gonna look amazing closer and closer to the release. *love that cloud shot in the beginning of the trailers*
Its gonna be great online, I just love how much stuff is going on in the background with the sounds, particles, lighting, funfire, bullets...etc. they should call it warzone instead :D

Dark and gritty just the way i like it :)

Some things bother me though, i just cant get over the bland textures and the explosions look meh, but my biggest worry is AI did you see that guy just stand and get shot to hell?, i hope ur right about it being on easy mode, anyway plenty of time to tighten it up, looking good.

Well DC this is pre-alpha, I know that one of the devs said they are playing it on God mode because of this presentation that is why they are keep getting hit but wont die.

Like in pre-alphas you shouldnt expect AI go all Rambo on you. This is just a tech demo to show off Killzone 2 and how it looks like on a pre-alpha kit on PS3 on the planet Helghan I believe its called.

But yeah this game is way far from being done you know, so just enjoy the show if you like :D

Some of the AI was really stupid, but since it's so early, I'm easily willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Damn those movies you posted Sath looked really really good! I looove the artstyle of this, maybe a bit gray. Would love to see some other levels... Control/gameplaywise it looked cool as well.

Hehe yeah I agree.
It is gray of course but that is how Helghan looks like. Dark, destroyed, invaded looking planet.
I don't that we will see more variety in the environment and all. Besides in one of the videos the devs kept switching on and off on the color palette. I liked the one when they I think switched on, it had great colors of the bullets, fire and what not.

I dunno why they presevere with Rico to be honest. I prolly liked him the least of the original cast. Whine whine whine, generic "kick helghast ass" line, whine whine. Personally I'm the most fond of Templar. While perhaps a bit bland, he was really steadfast and heroic in a pretty down to earth and subtle way.

I have yet to finish Liberation so I dunno what happens to Templar in that, but from the look of things he's nowhere to be found in Killzone 2.
