I would certainly rather purchase Guitar Hero III by means of an access disc for a nominal fee and then pay to fill it with songs I actually want, all at the right price of course :)

I agree with this and I don't. You see my problem is I can't even buy pick and mix without falling into a coma of indecision. Meanwhile, I hate the likes of Lamb of God - Laid to rest in here and I HAAAATE that I have to "master" them to proceed in the career mode, so I would like some choice.

I suppose what I want the most is for Harmonix to realise not everyone likes the shite music they listen to. (Sorry for everyone's toes I stepped on there)

Lumines Live was stripped of all the licensed bullshit Lumines 2 got stuck with, and will most likely offer those in a special Bullshit Pack for 1200 points down the road, but it still contains a plethora of perfectly playable skins (except for that dreadful ARRIIIBAAAA!!1 *whistling*, I can't imagine that HAS toes to step on) and that's an approach I like.

Let those into rituals and death get their own packs and those who like other, slightly less morbid undertakings get theirs, but offer a good base of songs to stand on - songs that don't get on anybody's tits.

You have a point and I was thinking something similar whilst writing the above but didn't articulate it. There are a couple of songs in GHII I hadn't heard before, would never have listened to ever but quite like and hence I'm interested in checking out more of the same stuff now.

If it was just the game engine and then buy songs you like I wouldn't have had that chance really so a mix and match model as you suggest is the way forward, it's just about getting the balance right.

There's opportunities here which Activision are only f***ing up for everyone by getting that balance wrong. Once they cotton on that is potential lost $$$ down the line I think they'll be changes.

The only question is how long that'll take.

GTB Bon, faut dire que je viens de comprendre que j'ai pas besoin de retrouvé la clé du boss à chaque fois ^^'. Je pourrais faire des tentatives plus rapprochées en fait. (il y a 1 Jour)
GTB le jeu est assez foutu pour apporter du neuf (lore, ennemis, salles) qd tu recommences encore et encore. Là j'en suis juste à un moment où il y a pas vraiment de neuf dc ça fait plus répétitif/frustra (il y a 1 Jour)
GTB Globalement, je galère pas vraiment. Mais il suffit d'une salle, chargé en ennemis dangereux et une typo de la salle à la con => + de risque de mourir et...retour case départ. (il y a 1 Jour)
