The intro and ending movies are, in production quality, as good as any blockbuster movie I have seen. Amazing.
Watching ending cut-scene before even playing the game? Ridiculous.

what would you give halo 1, halo 2 and halo 3 out of 10 if you had to rate the CAMPAIGN only of each of those games???

and you can rate using decimals to make more accurate

personally i would give halo 1 9.7, halo 2 9.0, and havnt played halo 3 yet!!

I am satisfied just watching the cut scenes! The production quality in general (story, angles, dialogue, action, pacing) of the cut scenes I have seen is outstanding.

Bungie nails the art of story telling in Halo 3. While the graphic quality is going to be overblown by fans, it is difficult to overstate the quality of the story telling and music. Epic. Great stuff.

And I am just a "passing" Halo fan (Halo PC, some Halo 2... good games, as a PC gamer not totally sold on the pwnage some cryout), and the story telling and music are triumphant.

Im a sucker for the hype. Here in Edinburgh there are posters absolutely everywhere. MC is on fucking buses. That shit happens for no other game. Also there is a midnight opening on tuesday night but I cant make it cause of work.

The guy who took the pics said those were the best he found. He said the game looks good, and you can often find areas like that for nice shots, but in general the game doesn't look quite that good on average (and sometimes very bland compared to those shots). Which I think is to be expected... it is a game, not a movie. So that is to be expected.

i hope they do a gamersyde diaries for it,
i really trust gamersyde opinions more then any other site out there and that a promise ther awesome and very blunt and truthful with the opinions :)

ya man thats exactly what it is like. Like some areas are like "bungie FTW!!" while others are seriously low res textures with no decoraters what so ever and usually some horrible jaggies (points to inside pelican...) but in all honesty for the most part the game is pretty good looking but in the areas where is gets bad it gets really really reallllllllllly bad like N64 style shit.

Screens above are all from the first mission. Just about to give Legendary a go with the scoring on. Took me 45 minutes first time round on Heroic. Lets see how we do :D

legandary is very hard on the other halo games!!!!

i completed them both on heroic myself though,
think i'll be doing halo 3 in heroic straight off too
and im gonna make sure everyone of them covonent bastards is dead before i move to the next area lol

have you seen bungie.net, theres a campaign kill count!!!
over 6 million covonent have died in halo 3 already lol and it hasnt been officially released yet!!!

it will be trillions by this time next year when wer all hyped up about fable 2s release
