Bungie has already said that the customisation evident in the Beta was just the 'tip of the iceberg'. Hardly surprising, really.
Yeah E3 will see a whole new slew of great information given.

Brian’s the boss. His fiat is final. His declaration means that I can’t tell you about the amazing slice of campaign I just laid eyes on in the fish tank. I can’t describe the symphony that is Noble Team working together in perfect, violent harmony, blazing a bloody trail through an advancing Covenant invasion. I can’t tell you about the unbelievably powerful and emotional score running underneath it all like a vital and victorious current. I can’t say a thing.

Don’t worry. It won’t be long now. If you haven’t heard, Halo: Reach hits all stores everywhere on September 14th, 2010 (Except in Japan, where it’s set to launch on the 15th) and since that leaves us with precious little time to show off all the expected and unexpected features we have in the works, you can bet you’ll be sighting some shiny new aspects of Reach real soon. Like E3 soon.

Been playing some Halo 3 again last night (I bought ODST, so why the hell not). And it's definitely fun. Strangely though, I only got to play the old maps, I thought there were supposed to be some new maps as well in ODST, but whatever.

One thing though, the lack of sprint is such a pain, especially on larger maps. I like to quickly get in the heat of the batlle and especially with game types like King of the Hill it's like these nightmares I sometimes have where I'm trying to sprint, but all I get is this floaty 'walking on the moon' feeling...such a pain.

Thankfully Halo Reach atleast has an ability for this which, like in the beta, will be the only ability I use. I know Halo is Halo and no COD4, but being able to sprint is essential for me...

did you enter the gametype for new maps? If you wanna play on the newest ODST maps you have to enter that game room. I also started playing Halo 3 again after the beta and it is a really fun game when you haven't played it in a while. While I do really like Halo's online, my only problem w/ it is that for some reason I can only play for like one or two hours and I get tired of it. No idea why really. Maybe just due to so much halo play through the years past.

But I agree that after being used to most shooters having a sprint feature, it's really hard to deal w/ long walks lol.

Ah, thanks. Will check that out later. I too can't play for more than 2 hours straight. which is a blessing in disguise though. Too many hours I've wasted on online MP, so it's good to not be sucked in entirely like I was with COD4. ;)

MS conference is precisely 3 months before the game launches. It'll be a hard wait from that day, though I would like to see a slice from the campaign NAO.

It's obviously the biggest game of 2010, how is that a mistake? I guess Black Ops could top it, that does seem to have more momentum than Treyarch's CoD entries usually do.

I was thinking about awesomeness morethan the sales though. You cannever really predict this sales stuff. I remember how Dan Houser from Rockstar was cocky about GTA4's release and said in an interview that GTA's launch in spring won't hold it back from becoming the best selling game of that year. He was right that you could publish a great selling game in that period, what he didn't predict was that 2 games from that period would beat squarely GTA4 in sales LOL

That said, I hope we'll all go nuts after the E3 demo and Reach will be the best selling game this year. :) But it doesn't seem to have the momentumHalo 3 had in that period in 2007.

There's a very high probability that it will be the "biggest" exclusive this year in terms of sales, and I wouldn't put it past Halo to out-do another "me too!" Call of Duty game.

In terms of awesomeness it's easily going to be the best console game of the year too!

Maybe I am not big of a Halo fan to see it through beta footages and features sheets.

We are in June not in the end of 2010, plently of fine games to come out.
