Light reflecting on Plasma HDTVs

I'm going to buy a new HDTV for the living room and decide that I'm gonna go with a panasonic or samsung plasma tv.

What concern me is that the room where is going to be is pretty iluminated by day light.

Does plasma still have the problem with light reflecting and thus make them imposible to watch them with too much day light?

I want a plasma for their great contrast and fast response time for gaming.

My plasma gets a lot of glare during the day time. Curtains ftw.

Well curtains are no a solution for me right now, and I like my living room pretty light.

Yes they do, I have a Panasonic and I had to completly cover the window.

Awesome and dare I say the best picture quality by Plasmas standar only second by the Kuros, but they have that problem.

Plasma TVs are not as bright as most LCD TVs. They perform better in a dimly lit or darkened room. The Screen surface is more reflective than most LCD TVs, which means they are susceptible to glare - screen surface reflects ambient light sources. Plasma TVs are more susceptible to burn-in of static

Yes, Plasma TVs have a lot of problems. They still aren't good to be viewed in bright daylight.
I would say that you should not buy it.
They reflect a lot of light when it falls on the screen and thus renders the viewing experience questionable.
