Share some info about the combat!! The research/upgrades etc, did you import character from ME1? Or you only played first on xbox.

I played ME1 on 360 so I couldnt import my second, but the looks is exactly like him anyways minus the beard change thats all.

The shooting as expected from the videos, looks alot polish and when you shoot, it feels and sounds great compared to the first one.

I havent played alot yet, I just talked to the Illusive Man to start my mission and now I am in the Normandy for the first time, so its very early in the game.

Considering I liked to do some "magic" and combine it with shooting, I went with Adept, I love the biotic powers that Adept has.
On 360 I had a generic mind so I went with soldier class, but not this time.

I looked at a torrent site, have absolutely no intention of downloading aka robbing them of the well deserved sales for what is sure to be an amazing game, but perhaps some would be interested to know that a bioware employee who worked on the game posted saying how upset he was to see that there is a leaked copy of the game he worked on for 2 years already up on the internet even before it's release date.

He should have known by now that any game can be pirated, from handhelds to consoles (except PS3) and PC, some games even before the release date.
MW2 was released on 360 to be downloaded even before the PC version, just to show you that there are 360 owners as well that damages the whole "piracy" as well as PC. I even think its mostly the 360 versions that gets leaked first before the PC versions.
Not saying all 360/PC owners, but obviously there are alot.

PS3 owners are the only ones that has to buy all of their games and dont have the option to pirate them. Atleast all games are region free for PS3 :)

Games like Mass Effect 2 don't come around often enough. Look at any aspect and you can be sure it's great. It's incredibly personal while still retaining a sense of epic sweeping scale. The combat and mission design are outstanding. The visuals, voice acting, soundtrack, and direction are miles ahead of the competition. Perhaps most impressively, Mass Effect 2 manages to fulfill its incredible ambition while only suffering from very few technical hiccups. The only real caveat I should mention is that some of the revelations and plot twists won't be quite as powerful if you haven't played Mass Effect 1, but that isn't any reason to skip this fantastic videogame.

But seriously, I am not that far into the game, I just started my first mission, very early in the game.

I can't wait to meet Thane though and have him in my team, he is just awesome.

Ah I wish the game supported 360 controller, not a big fan of keyboard/mouse :(

Going by that IGN review it sounds like they fixed every single flaw from the first game. This sounds like it is going to be the best RPG so far this generation by a clear mile. I cannot wait to see for myself just how amazing this game really is.

Even with the flaws I loved the first ME to death so this game should be nothing short of stunning. Now I'm just worried I'm getting overhyped and setting myself up for a letdown.

Yeah Thane looks awesome. And the game doesn't support controller because well the UI, and combat was adapted to the PC, like the first ME was.

And we are getting close!

The ME 2 site got updated with a redeem code page, leading to their social site. I just checked my account, and saw my Blood Dragon armor ready for Mass Effect 2.

Indeed. But considering I dont have a 360 but can still play it on my PC with everything maxed out without any problems at all, I say its one thing I can let go.

Mass Effect 2's Strange Disc Swapping Explained:
