It's only on veteran, and even still ive done another mission tonight and killed 4 people during a breach twice, still nothing popped. This has me really pissed off now.

You need to kill 4 people with only 4 shots to get that achievement.

I absolutely love Spec Ops. When you have an actual co-op partner, it's the game's most intriguing/exciting feature in my opinion.

The Juggernauts are frickin' insane, and I love how they have their own music so you know they're coming (the music itself is pretty haunting as well).

Yes they do, because they chose to play their games on a console instead of a PC.. And by doing that they support the closed monopolistic structure on those consoles instead of supporting the free and open structure of PC gaming..Me too, I have a Xbox 360 aswell.. And that makes me a hypocrite, because I shouldn't be playing on the thing and support the closed monopolistic structure MS has on it.. We all should stop playing on consoles and only play on PC.. Support companies like Valve and Relic etc, gamedevelopers (and publishers) that still release games that offer great freedom in online play, content and custombility.. You make your demand with that choice I think..

But offcourse that will never happen.. Consoles are cheap to buy and easy to use.. So the vast majority of the gamingmarket will keep using them.. And with cool exclusive games (like Forza Motorsport) they'll even lure people like me in.. If it wasn't for those exclusive games I would never own a console..

Also I take back what I said earlier. I guess I just had to get into later levels (am 31 now) to really get into the better part of the game. I am really enjoying it now minus some camping issues going on

Cold Blooded perk also takes care of any air game going on with helis and so on.

Too late now. Even if we all stopped playing on our evil consoles and instead played exclusively on our benevolent PCs, the consoles' villainous influence has already been felt.

If only consoles had never been invented. We'd be able to enjoy endless PC gaming oppurtunities in a world where companies don't care about making money.

LOL man that's just ridiculous. Look, I was playing PC games for many many years, heck, I grew playing pc games. but you know, I got tired of playing cat and mouse upgrading pc year after year, messing with drivers and cfg files to get oblivion to run with extra 5 fps, or digging through forums to get BF2142 to run in my monitor's native resolution, or buying F.E.A.R. after seeing all those sexy screenshots only to play in the end a 800x600 no AA, jagged as fucked version of them.

You know what, I gave up and bought a console instead and now I play games the way they are meant to be played, with a sexy wireless controller, on a couch on a 40" screen, and not on an advanced typewriter on a desk. Consoles have democratized videogames, took them out of the rooms of 16 year olds who have nothing better to do than to spend their freetime modding up their pcs with liquid cooling systems. I don't know about you, but I have a life, and when I get home with the very little free time I have, I just wanna drop my copy of CoD in the tray and in 1 min, I'm online playing and, guess what, having fun hassle free!
And I'm the average user, the 30ish year old with a job, money to spend, not so much free time and who in the end bought 7million copies of the game. Again, it's ridiculous that your blaming these people who don't want anything else than to have hassle free fun. PC might have been the de facto platform for gaming for many years, but it was just the test bench for it is maturing into nowadays. Are we loosing much? yes a bit (because of course I understand most of you guys' points) but i think we are winning so much more!

Look, if console gaming never existed in first place and we would be playing with HTPCs in front of our 42" plasmas don't you think that in a situation like that (a market shared between very few big corps, economic crisis, most gaming corps are unprofitable etc.) someone would force these changes through if they think they are important enough?

They would do it because there are people who would pay for it, and it would mean more profit even if the consumer base was shrinking. In a healthy and competitive market with lots of equal vendors that would never happen. Such is the world of capitalism, get used to it, you live in one.

If i feel screwed i wont buy a game end of story, hence my stand against EA for about 15 years, but of recent i have had to change my stance (dead space..mirrors edge)
Now i just refuse to buy all activision games, Guitar hero was fantastic at first, but why all the diffrent packages ? why not just use "decent priced" DLC .... least Sing Star release new disks, but you dont have to buy them, you can just buy the songs you want as DLC

I will probally play this game, but i will NEVER pay for it, i will just borrow it and play the single player, but they will never get my money, i would not pirate it because i dont belive in that, not for games....
Funny thing is i had it offered to me yesterday by TWO people, cant be any good if two of my friends already want to borrow it out.

To talk about the game again: The maps are too big for 6vs6 matches (most of the time it's less players anyway). For 8vs8 however the mapsize seems perfect. Just played some Ground Wars and didn't have any issues with campers, much more run and gun gameplay, just like MW1.

Too big for 6vs6? Man, I played a couple rounds of 2vs2 and enjoyed it immensely. I think 4vs4 team deathmatch would be ideal for me.

Just beat the single player. Man, that ending was pure fucking awesomesauce. That said, I don't think I'd play the SP again unless I was fishing for achievements. Not that I think the campaign was poor in any way...it's just not the type of campaign that warrants multiple playthroughs for me.

Patch it?

Dream on.. Only thing you'll get is premium DLC, like mappacks.. This time also on PC.. Aren't we lucky..
