Since 7188 Daysits good because it turns into something you didn't expect ( its called a good twist and it perefectly executed). its neither a remake of a previous movie nor an adaption of book, which is makes it unique(good thing imo). the pacing is well balanced too, from bandits escaping, to staying in unknown bar not knowing what lies ahead, to surviving the horrors of that night. the dialog however is that of the average joe( what do you expect from thieves anyway), unlike interview with a vampire, where the language is intellectual.
at the end though, its movie about bandits and their hostages who run into badluck, thats theme of it

Since 7173 DaysI hate stoner movies that only stoners find funny while they're stoned. Half Baked was a stoner movie, but it's genuinely funny. Man I hated Fear and Loathing.

Even better movie. I really enjoyed it. I have always liked Hong Kong movies and Sammo Hung and Donnie Yen is in the movie so I had to watch it.
