LAST COMMENT ON THIS MOVIE

its good because it turns into something you didn't expect ( its called a good twist and it perefectly executed). its neither a remake of a previous movie nor an adaption of book, which is makes it unique(good thing imo). the pacing is well balanced too, from bandits escaping, to staying in unknown bar not knowing what lies ahead, to surviving the horrors of that night. the dialog however is that of the average joe( what do you expect from thieves anyway), unlike interview with a vampire, where the language is intellectual.

at the end though, its movie about bandits and their hostages who run into badluck, thats theme of it
I know what it is about, I've even got it on dvd (it came with a Tarantino pack) but it's in my opinion his weakest movie....

I saw Half Baked for the first time. Stupid, but pretty funny.

Liked Half Baked, too. Nothing special tho. I watched Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas recently again after I felt asleep the last time I watched it. The movie only starts to make sense when you're stoned, otherwise it becomes unwatchable for me 1/2 through the movie...

Ugh...and that's why I want to throat-punch people that like the movie. They can never say why they like it or what they find enjoyable about it, but apparently watching other people pretend to be high while high yourself is fun? Such bullshit.

I hate stoner movies that only stoners find funny while they're stoned. Half Baked was a stoner movie, but it's genuinely funny. Man I hated Fear and Loathing.

That, in truth, is how I first came to enjoy this movie. These days I appreciate it more for its ability to convey certain experiences and thoughts while under the influence. I can watch it and be totally convinced that the situations and thoughts in the movie make absolute sense. The movie to me also has an incredible visual appeal and the music only strengthens the atmosphere.

Strange memories on this nervous night in Las Vegas. Has it been five years? Six? It seems like a lifetime.

Good film. What about Fargo? I can't wait for Burn After Reading.

I watched 28 Weeks Later a couple of days ago. Bit more gore in this one, which I actually kinda liked, but it doesn't beat 28 Days Later in my opinion.

Yes, that's 100% true for me. It didn't make any sense when I watched it as it was. What Ronsauce describes is a feeling you get when you're joining a party of poeple who are stoned/drunken or whatever. You won't undersatnd them, you can't laught with them or understand any of the nonsense they are talking. But for them they talk absolute sense.

The Big Lebowski is one of my all time favs, propably in the top 5, at least top 10.

I think the introductory scene in Weeks is absurdly good. From the very beginning right up until he is escaping in the boat. That whole scene had me absolutely gripped.

To be fair, that bit is incredibly awesome and was a great way to start the film off. I dunno... it's a good movie, but the gore was a bit excessive in places. Kind of took something away from the film a little bit, even though it is a horror.

28 Days Later was just more chilling in my opinion. Glad to see that they're making a 28 Months Later though.

Just got back from seeing Pineapple Express. I absolutely loved it! I'm such a sucker for most of those Apatow-produced movies.

It had funny dialogue, funny site gags, and decent action, and is another example of a stoner movie that requires not a trace of THC in the blood to be found funny. Good stuff.

I didn't really wait anything from it but I really enjoyed it. Good movie.

Even better movie. I really enjoyed it. I have always liked Hong Kong movies and Sammo Hung and Donnie Yen is in the movie so I had to watch it.

jurassic park 1,2,3

3rd was the most annoying (1st 50 minutes) with that family screaming in the jungle, it just felt weak compared to the first 2

The whole talking-to-the-raptors thing was pretty retarded as well.

I didn't think the Lost World was too bad. Granted I was pretty young when I first saw these movies so nostalgia is a contributing factor, but I still enjoy it.
