Watched Memento the other night, thought it was a pretty cool movie. Also, Star Trek 2009 wasn't too bad. Tried to watch The Passengers, but it was boring the crap out of me.

Gonna watch Knowing tonight. Can't stand Nicolage Cage though. Well, I suppose I can stand him, just don't particularly like him...

what is peoples sudden dislike with Nick Cage?

Is it because he can't handle his finances?
It just seems way too popular and mysterious for me to get on board yet.

yeah, he's a one track actor but, at least you know what you are getting.

I've never like him (ofcourse I'd say that now), don't know why but it's just the way it is.

Couldn't care less what he does in his personal life, and frankly I don't know a single detail of his personal life. Well, except now I know he can't handle his finances aparently. God, how I hate people that can't handle their finances! ;)

haha, I can't handle my own, but I can totally understand somebody not liking Nick Cage for being Nick Cage.
He's kinda deouche'y though hero'y at the same time.

I kinda dig the fucker.
(and my mother is in love with him so I have to buy his movies all the time)

I don't know what it is with Nick Cage, the movies he did in the 90's were pretty awesome if you ask me: Con Air, Face Off, Snake eyes..
Then starting from the year 2000, most of his movies suck (there are exceptions like Lord of War, Bangkok Dangerous, Matchstick Men) with the top of the shit pile: Ghost Rider...

I don't know if this has got something to do with the man himself or the scripts of the movies, but apparently he can't tell which film to do and which ones to pass on..

Having said that, I'm actually looking forward in seeing him in Kick Ass....

Have you guys seen "Let the Right One In?" It's a Swedish vampire flick. The trailers don't do it justice in setting the mood and story though.

It was the first Swedish film I've seen so I didn't know what to expect. Definitely worth a watch though.
