The Machinist : brilliant, I really liked it!

Coeurs : french movie, also good but kinda lenghty, not for everyone. But I really like André Dussolier, so I was already in love :P

next on my list : Downfall (Hitler movie)

The machinist is a truly awesome movie, being a huge fan of Christian Bale i had to get from the bargain bin when i was in America with my gf, just one of many great movies he's in, that takes real dedicated to get your weight that low, truly an inspiration to any aspiring actor/ess

Eastern Promises - Probably one of the best movies I've seen this year

The Assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford - Good movie but too long in my opinion. Brilliant performance by Brad Pitt though.

Bee movie - A really enjoyable movie not only for the kids...

Eastern Promises was pretty good. I've got this thing for Naomi Watts, which just made it even better. She's seriously terrific.

I want to see The Assassination of Jesse James by the coward Robert Ford (jesus--that's a long title).. interesting subject matter.

Sheesh I know. Proper messed up. I watched the first 10 minutes or so of Eastern Promises. That throat slashing at the start just grossed me out so much. Pretty fuckin explicit.

saw 4 - if you love the saw series this won't be dissapoitnment
the ring - good movie , not scary, but suspense, mystery is enough to creep you out
ring two - good movie own its own merits

i did not like The Ring 2. First, I went to see it at the theater but there were teens drinking and talking and it ruined part of the atmosphere. Second, I thought the plot was really a step down from the first one. Last, I saw the japanese version first, and the ending was really better. I hope I did not mix that last sentence with The Grudge, a similar movie.

edit : and I saw the movie WAR with hmm Jet Li I think? It was a good action-packed movie, I'm actually surprised.

28 Weeks Later; fucking awesome.
The soundtrack is out of this world too.

I give this movie 5 and a half stars.

In contrast, Hostel PartII kinda sucked... I liked the behind the scene extras more than the movie itself.
^Well, the movie didn't really "suck", it just wasn't anything better than the first.
It had it's [now] signature prosthetic that makes you laugh more than anything, simply because it's so, "reachy"? Like the movie is saying "I am pushing the limits, are you offended yet?"

No. but it's not a bad movie.
(I bought the unrated version, so that may affect opinion)

Yea 28 Days is good, 28 Weeks is not on the same level. But you HAVE to rent it for the opening sequence and the helicopter scene lol. I like how, in the original, zombies run everywhere as opposed to walking like retards in Resident Evil by example. Also, the whole "spit blood to infect" is a good idea, and disgusting. I also liked how people would barricate themselves in appartments blocks using grocery cabs (not sure of the word, the thing you use to put groceries in at the store).

Yeah 28 days is a classic, but I can't help but feel Weeks did something that made me cream my pants in zombie euphoria.
Whoever makes those movies has tension nailed.

Alien vs Predator 2

It was good and entertaining, although I prefered a much better atmosphere like the first one with ancient temples, antarctica...etc.

This one could be like in the amazon or somewhere in South America in the jungle or somewhere in the middle east or something.

I enjoyed it, it was good.
