Considering it's Tim Burton directing I even thought the visuals were sub par. The whole thing just felt like a quick cash in. It didn't live up to his visual standard.

Also Human Centipede was of course pretty gross, but it was more depressing than anything.

Robin Hood

Saw it, very nice.
Good movie for those into epic historic settings (such as myself, i love them).
I enjoyed it and thought Russell Crowe, by no surprise, fit the role perfectly.

Well I watched Alice in Wonderland and I must confess I freaking loved the movie LOL

The funny thing is that my wife was teh one that wanted to see it and I was not and I endup loving it and wife hating it,it was too dark for her,she tought they would sing in the movie LOL

In the trailers I hated the red Queen character but I think it was the best in the entire movie she was just hilarious!!

The movie has a lot of awesome and imaginative things I really liked it all.

Went and saw PoP in the cinema yesterday. Barring some shoddy and/or curious editing in spots, It's a wholly competent, genuinely charming period adventure movie with surprising momentum and a meaningful conclusion. Jake looks prrreettty dashing in it, and he has the presence, gravity and simple yet effective appeal that I hoped for.

Gemma Arterton too actually winds up having her grace and authority match and arguably surpass her looks, and is far from just a pretty face.

"Handsome", "elegant" with a slight "heroic" modifier I guess would be the best way of describing it.

The dashing prince, as it were. I dunno, not being a native english speaker I just use the words to covey what I mean, but then it's sometimes difficult to actually describe the word's meaning in a language other than my own. :)

I would describe his and everyone elses accent as "shit" and not suited for the movie, it was robin hood all over again.

English accents for "voicing" movies like this, set in this context, is a repeated, classic move throughout all forms of entertainment. The game itself had them aswell.

Just got back from seeing Splice. I enjoyed it a good deal. Solid performances all around coupled with some stupid character mistakes and an incredibly awkward scene that made the movie for me in a very perverse way.

Just finished watching Sunshine. It was pretty great, despite the last 20 minutes kinda disappointed me, but was still a great sci fi movie.

It was beautiful and had a great soundtrack.

Here's a great music:

Jackie Chans the Myth... i love Jackie, specially when making movies in his native tongue, but holy shit that was crap.... still love ya Jackie.

Sandra Bullocks the Blind Side, unexpectedly brilliant, loved ever second of it, which amazed me because I hate that sodding sport.
