MS E3 2008 Press Conference (Links Inside)

Well, that is probably how the gameplay is gonna be like.

You just run around doing "stunts" and might counter some attacks.
I knew the game would play out like this, and the fact that you have limited access to handguns and Faith is a regular woman with no "power ups", you are stuck with melee attack and just running, hence..."Runner".

But that's just me.
Sure the art is great and all, the concept of Faith is great, but whats the point if the gameplay seems to be one way play...that is what I saw. I never got "holy shit amazing" like the rest because I analyze the gameplay bits by bits to see if its worth my while.

Ah well, that is my opinion on the game anyway, so far.
It's not just you Sath, I feel the exact same way. Graphics are NICE along with everything else but gameplay at it's core is VERY VERY basic and is prone to repetitvness as well. I hope it turns out well though.

The demo reminded me of playing through Portal, which was pretty simple, but awesome in execution. I personally think Mirror's Edge is looking great, and I can't wait. I see a lot of potential.

Good thing I am not alone on this then.
They need to add alot of action, the trailer had a few though, so the walkthrough was just to give you glimpse.

But the fact that Faith isnt a gun user that alone puts me off, and I am not into melee combat with hands and legs, not my type, unless I had a gun and was so damn close I could do that.

But I just gotta wait more and see what happens with the title.

I'm like you guys, i'm still struggling to get to grips with everything from yesterday.

Does anyone know when Pandemic's showing is? I'm looking forward to seeing the new Lord of the Rings game, which i've heard is being shown in demo form during E3.

As a huge Naruto fan I thought it was kind of underwhelming, there is something wrong with the art style also.

It doesn't look as good as the PS3 Naruto game, art style and graphically.

The first didn't sell too well, so I guess Ubi are just spending money on new content and are not updating the engine.
