Tiens je vais poster ça là aussi.

Je viens de voir le documentaire Searching for Sugar Man. Il raconte l'histoire de Sixto Rodriguez. Et c'est l'histoire la plus incroyable et absurde que j'ai pu entendre. La construction du documentaire fait que je ne vais rien vous raconter et que je vous conseille de ne pas vous renseigner sur le bonhomme avant d'avoir vu le film.



Après si vous n'êtes pas convaincus, vous pouvez toujours aller voir la bande-annonce et rater un peu de la magie, mais vous ne passerez en tous cas pas à côté de sa musique.

Ouais j'ai déjà entendu parler de l'histoire par mon frère et c'est vrai que c'est assez dingue. Faudra que je jette un coup d'oeil a ce petit docu ma foi.

Sinon aussi rien a voir mais j'ai écouté plus attentivement The Black Keys et j'aime bien. J'avais pas eu l'occasion d'écouter vu le nombre de sorties et étant donné que j'étais plus hip-hop ces derniers temps avec A$AP Rocky et des classiques genre Beastie Boys et Nas avec du Flying Lotus et un peu de reggae par ci par la.

En effet c'est très bon, très proche de la nu-soul je trouve. Je vais écrire un article dessus tiens. sauf si tu veux le faire et nous rejoindre, on cherche des rédacteurs. :p

'tain je découvre des nouveaux genres musicaux tous les jours. La "nu-soul" dis-tu? ^^

Pour moi cet album c'est juste un mélange de jazz, de hip-hop et de soul. J'y vois une filiation directe avec la musique de Gil Scott Heron et de Donny Hathaway, notamment.
A force de vouloir créer des nouvelles "boîtes" pour ranger/classer les œuvres, j'ai l'impression que l'exercice de la critique musicale ressemble de plus en plus à une grande réunion Tupperware.

Pour ce qui est d'écrire un article ç'aurait été avec grand plaisir mais entre le boulot et mon déménagement qui approche à grand pas (www.mylife.com) je suis un peu au taquet en ce moment. ^^'

C'est la nouvelle soul si tu veux. (néo-soul en fait) :p J'aime pas non plus les cases, mais j'ai pas trop le choix vu que j'écris sur un site spécialisé en soul, hip-hop, je suis un peu obligé de tout rapprocher à la soul pour en parler. :D

Pas encore écouté moi. Mais ouaip, tout n'est pas au top dans ses EP. Néanmoins il a une patte et un univers singulier ça c'est sûr. Avec les clips, ça met plus dans l'ambiance oui. J'aime beaucoup les sonorités, le mélange 80's et Daft Punk.
