yeah i picked up patapon, great game, has a lot of charm, it does get repetative like loco roco tho, i just play it in short bursts and counteract the problem, but its definately not a game you can play for 8 hours straight...lol

I tried Patapon demo today and I thought it was quite bad. Those characters looked fun and graphics are nice. Sound effects and musics where good too but the gameplay was boring... I was tired to press that one combination to get those little dudes to walk... hmm now that I think those looked like Meteos dudes :D

Well maybe the game gets better in full game with more actions but demo didn't make me want to get this game. Oh well there is other games to waste my money :P

it gets hella complex later on, nothing impossible, but remebering a 4 button combo for differnt attacks, charges and retreats can get a little confusing, stratagy really comes into play as well. its easy to just run up and throw spears at a guy in the early levels, but later on that'll get you killed pretty quick. it isnt the most in-depth, captivating game in the world, but its very unique and very fun....in short bursts...kinda like loco roco.

Forgot Echochrome was coming out this month. I remember being interested in it from the E3 video. I believe there is going to be a demo this week(or next) up on PSN, so I'll give it a try.

I just picked it up from work today as well. Took like 8 breaks during work to play it :p

Ready at Dawn and Square Enix are using some kind of super hacks with the PSP, I swear.

Just got Patapon today. Loving it. It gets quite difficult, not as easy as Locoroco was.
And very tactical. When you can retreat-defend-move forward-attack, you really gota think whats the better to do!

I owned that damn Cloverfield monster from the demo. Owned him good. Uh, this game just makes the wait for GOWIII all the harder, and the fact they have the GOWIII "coming soon" teaser on the back of the manual doesn't help either :p

!! Go get the rest too. They're cheap and great games. GoW: CoO is good, but overall experience of GOW on PS2 cannot be denied.

The Ready at Dawn Engine is fully scalable and was developed without the constraints of a specific platform. It runs on PSP, but also on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

So the Wii can't handle it eh? :p

heh, just bricked my PSP updating the firmware. Unless I can find someone around me with an Pandora battery(I'm too lazy), I'm more than likely just going to shell out for a new slim. In that case might as well wait till the Kratos Red one is released. GOW was fun for the brief moment I spent with it :p

no idea. I was going through the typical update process, which I've done many times before. It got to like 87%, then gave me an error message pretty much telling me to contact Sony. Yup, and now it won't power on anymore. I got the update files from Dark Alex's own site, so I doubt it was due to corrupt files. Just sounds like bad luck for me. Oh well what's done is done.

Shitty.. are you sure you can't unbrick it? I don't even remember what firmware I'm using, but it's hella out of date. I should update to Dark Alex's newest work, assuming this isn't a widespread issue. I'm so glad he decided to come back to the PSP scene.

I seem to recall you still being on OE-A no? Anyway, I think the Pandora Battery way is the only way I can bring it back maybe. As it being widespread, I don't think so. Most people that I've seen went through the update process just fine. I would see some people bricked/semi-bricked theirs every now and then, but those cases were in the minority. I'm going to get a Pandora Batter either way, so I think I can save it. Pretty sure that's the only way you can get CFW on the Slim's anyway. So even if I replaced it with a Slim, I'd still need a PB. So it's unavoidable.

The battery lets to downgrade any firmware version (including those that Sony releases in the future), and to unbrick bricked psp's (whatever bricked by software psp, not only the ones bricked by that retard of Serafin), in all current hardware.
