Play-Asia doesn't have any more DJ Max 1? I'm really not sure which one I prefer. It may just be because I've played it more, but right now I think I might actually prefer the original..

well according to the so called "Vets", DJ MAX 2 seems to be a bit more easier than DJ MAX.

Also, I'm going to need to buy some replacement buttons. This game, and Street Fighter Alpha Max 3 are killing them!

I don't know if Play-Asia has it but it doesn't matter because they don't ship Playstation games to Europe :( So I just checked from ebay and there was only DJ Max 2...

Does anyone know shops that sells import games to EU? Some new PSP games costs the same what new PC games here so I would like to import :D

Try, Yes-Asia.com and ncsxshop.com. They ship to Europe

Also, just picked up Monster Hunter Freedom 2, and it owns all confirmed. That is all

Thanks. I have ordered from yesasia before and it is really great site! I just now realized that they do ship Asia PSP games to Europe. That other shop looked nice too. Better bookmark that so I can check it out later.

I also find this site http://www.games-asia.com/ I don't know how reliable site that is so I don't recommend it to anyone yet. They have free shipping and quite good prices at least in some games.

Monster Hunter game looked quite good I have to admit. I looked some trailers from it and I am not completely sure what you have to do but I check more info about that game for sure.

So yeah have to just browse different shops and think about that PSP purchase. There seems to be really good games on it so I bet it is just matter of time when I get one.

GT's review sums it up quite nicely, if you haven't already seen it

Looks like my kind of game. Lots of different weapons and armors to get. Those games are too addictive... One thing I don't know is that has the game ending or can you keep playing it as long as you want? Also it seems you don't need to play the first game to really understand this game.

DJ Max and this game could be good games to pick up as first games for PSP. I probably wouldn't buy many games for it this year so those could give me the best money/time value.

Don't think so. Even if you complete every quest and what not, you still can continue to play. Like redoing old quests and stuff, in order to get a specific material to make a more/better equipment. But like the GT guy said, you can easily put in over 100+ hours in the game.

And yeah, you don't need to have played the first game really, since there isn't an actual story in the franchise. It can be somewhat difficult at first, just getting use to the controls and whole gameplay mechanics. But just stick with it, because once you do it really begins to shine I think. The game has also has a training area where you can learn the basics, and how to use each weapon.

If you do end up getting the game, I recommend starting out with Shield and Sword. Really good weapon in general, and it's a good weapon to start out with for beginners to the game.

I don't mind if it doesn't have story. Getting cool stuff is what these games are made after all. No worries about controls. I have patience to learn those.

Thanks for the all info and I really appreciate this. I hope you have fun with the game.

No Problem. I'm always trying to recruit a new member to the Monster Hunter family :p

And I just got my ass handed to me on a silver platter by this Wyvern in the game, and nearly threw my PSP across the room because of it. Yup, think it be time for a break

Next time you are going to throw it just shutdown it and send it to me... Better PSP at my hands than broken on the floor :p

Yeah some games are so hard that they almost make you break something. Ninja Gaiden Black was one of those but not anymore. It is easy now :D

Well personally i don't think much of monster hunter, the missions are boring as hell and very long winded.

Graphics are nice though.

yeah, it's an acquired taste :)

As for graphics, yeah, it's easily one of the best looking games on the PSP. Pretty admirable that Capcom got it to look almost just as good as the PS2 counterpart.

Game sure has lots of stuff to collect. Those armor pictures has chest so I ask if that's place to put items? Like stash in Diablo games.

I really wanted this, but I won't have them not including infrastructure mode, it's a disgrace to what looks like a great game.

Yeah, that's where you put all your items. The chest actually has like 2 parts, 1 section is where you store all your items(potions, monster parts, etc.), then the other is where you keep all your equipment(armor, weapons).

by the way guys i just got my psp slimline. bought it yday. its supposed to be out here in the uk on the 14th, but i have one :) . just a couple of things:

-ive got the piano black, and it comes with a psp system, battery and charger. nothing else

-Its much better than you think. Dont base your opinions on internet 2nd hand sources. You need to hold it for yourself and have a feel for what its like. Ive got big hands and thought i would have a problem while playing long hours. But that wasnt true after playing 4.5hours of tekken DR via ad-hoc mode with my friend. Suprisingly the battery was only down to 23% after the long session.

-Sony definitely made the right decision with the redisign.

-It does load up games faster. I played liberty city stories, and i never had to wait impatiently.

-It comes with Firmwire 3.60.

-You will have to buy the remote seperately due to the new models being incompatible with the older sockets.

-If you have greasy hands, beware lololol

Do you guys want me to post pictures of the Box/packaging and the system itself?

nice man!

I don't need to see any pictures myself, since physically it looks the same as the older models :p

However, have you tried hooking it up to a TV yet?

not at all because it doesnt come the the necessary cables. Im yet to try charging it via usb aswell. Also under the settings, they have added a few little extras to accompany the redesign.

ive just been playing ridge racer (one of my best psp games) and the sound quality seems alot better and alot more audible due to the shifted speakers. in the settings area there is a new sub-setting known as "connected display setting" and it contains all the necessary tweaks for watching/playing games or movies on the tv.it feels alot lighter but by no means cheap. Overall ill give the old psp a 9/10 and the new psp 9.8/10.

Oh no! Temptation to pick up a new unit is rising.. the TV output is the most appealing aspect.. and on top of that, it's 3.60? Isn't 3.60 downgradable? So tempting.. especially w/ TV out and the Xbox 360 wireless controller hack floating around.

Perhaps, but how good can 480x280 look on a 720p LCD ....

Not very i am thinking.. :S

Besides you can stream the picture via USB to a PC monitor with remotejoy.

I've tried the latter and it's a little too laggy to be playable honestly.. direct output would be useful for while traveling, and probably looks pretty good on SDTV's.

on another note, I've finally finished Jeanne D'arc, and it's easily the best RPG I've played this year(maybe even the past couple of years). Level 5 has redeemed themselves from the letdown that was Rogue Galaxy in my eyes.
