Nah, it's pretty damn good, I think. I always try to be careful about rushing a story along, because it's so easy to become impatient when you're dealing with a weekly release schedule. However, it's when you take a step back and read through everything in bulk, removing yourself from the weekly release schedule, that you truly realize just how well it all comes together in retrospect.

Yea, Neji was easily one of my biggest favorites in the entire manga. He was the rookie, second to Naruto himself, that I was most interested in seeing just how strong he had become. It's pretty ballsy of Kishi to do what he just did. Such a promising character, with loads of potential, and he offs him without so much as a bit of prior warning. I approve, but boy is it hard to see Neji die.

However, the good that came out of it? Naruto and Hinata is now CONFIRMED! I always thought Hinata made the most sense for Naruto, and Sakura was just never really a good fit. I knew it would be Hinata and Naruto ever since their encounter right before the Neji vs Naruto fight in the Chuunin Exams. He told her that he once thought she was weird, but that he really liked people like her. Then when his mother told him not to pick someone weird, it hit me as so obvious that I was beyond excited. Naruto better protect Hinata with his life. Obito couldn't get any ass, and now he's all pissed off, and will do whatever he can to deny Naruto, as well.
