This is unbelievable.......I'm sorry, but yes, I think it looks amazing. The cars look so freaking realistic.

Yeah i've been watching a few of them. It really does look incredible. Is it out yet?

The level of realism in the physics, damage, customisation, and the force feedback wheel has got me a lot more excited about Forza 2.

No doubt about that second comment, I'm just very impressed by the car models and lighting in GTHD.

Well.......I don't know about the force feedback wheel. There's no way I'll be buying the wheel unless it does great with FM2 (would have to try it fist somehow), and does great with PC games. You know, I don't want two wheels lying around, they are too bulky. I also hate the fact that I know MS could have given us more options but they preferred huge profits instead of happy customers. In fact, if they really wanted to, they could make the MOMO work with the 360. I'm sure they could work that out with Logitech.

Cant see the cars getting much more realistic than this. Makes me want to play it so bad. will probably wait for a few years for GT5 or GT6 before getting a PS3 if ever.

Edit: Yeah they could have allowed the use of PC wheels, but its good to know they are designing the gameplay around this one wheel, and since i dont have any others, i think this will be a good purchase and will be a big part of the gameplay experience.

LoL, the physics on that game are an absolute joke, reminds me of outrun2!

That said, the car models look amazing, photo realistic indeed, shame it doesnt fit with the ps2 like backgrounds, well there will probably be some footage of GT5 at E3 so we can see how they have improved. Hopefully they apply MUCH more effort into the physics instead of just graphics :)


EDIT: After watching the vid from the driving(non replay) point of view 'Gran Turismo HD - Drift Challenge Gameplay HD' the graphics arent nearly as good and the car physics look even worse.

But i do wish Forza had replays like that, they are simply stunning!

GTHD has nice car and PS2 backgrounds, also, the lighting doesnt come close to Forza2 in game... My opinion anyhow...
As for the physics, no way those are realistic, looks so arcadey, not as bad as Ridge Racer, but not in the same league as forza.

Edit: Forzas cars actually have suspensions :P

Wishlist: PGR4 with a FF wheel, 2K Legends Football, and Halo 3 with an XFPS controller. And I can dream that Halo Wars will be a Battlezone PC clone...

the CAR...singular car, would it still look as good if it had 8 cars on track, and full ploygon backgrounds and the kinda physics that forza does....methinks not.

and whats with the tire screaching sound

Imagine how good Forza 2 would look if they didn't have to bother with the extensive physics, damage modelling, customisation or AI.

ever feel like your banging your head against a brick wall???
still people are comparing the amazing forza 2 against the slightly dull one car demo that is gthd

i play racers for the thrill of the race, not for how good the replay is, even in pgr3...never watched a replay, if i come first i know ive won, if i come last i keep playing till i come first.

Yeah one thing i'm sure of is that every car in the game will have a unique driving experience due to the mad level of physics, sound, damage and customisation.

Thats one quality that looks absent from GThd and PGR3.

They are adding ALOT, lol thats what i realised when i watched the 'Gran Turismo HD - Drift Challenge Gameplay HD' vid, its clear that when racing it looks nowhere near as good
