If you heven`t already played the demo, then I must say that although it was kinda shallow-ish,....it was simply there to help get you into the action,-a kind of tutorial- if you like. I found it to be a great game and loved the graphix!.

The actual game runs at a solid 60 fps (so I heard lol) and looks incredible!...just as good as the screenies!. I made an american account just to get it early and all seems great so far!.

Kinda reminds me of years ago when I went into my local Game shop, only to find that there was literally nothing out to play. My girlfriend insisted that I get Rayman-The Hoodlum Havoc, as it would be good for her to play. After much moaning on my part, I actually decided to give her the befefit of the doubt and go for it........I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT !!!!.

As far as I`m concerned, I`ve been spending WAAAAY too much time on shooters during the past two years, so to finally get to grips with a truly amazing looking platformer that looks this damn fine,.....it makes me drool :0)

9.4
Whether you're new to R&C or someone who has played them all, Ratchet and Clank Future deserves to be in your library no matter what. Not only has it supplanted Going Commando as the best title in the franchise, it's also the best game of any series on the PlayStation 3 thus far -- and that's saying a lot when you're up against Oblivion, Ninja Gaiden, Warhawk and Insomniac's very own previous effort, Resistance: Fall of Man.

Congratulations Full Moon folks, you're two for two.
Going Commando was awesome, so saying that it's better than that is some bold words. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised. Everything I've seen and read on this game makes me believe that will probably be the case. Bah, I can't wait to play it.

It succeeds simply by delivering gameplay that’s perfectly executed along with a story that lovingly advances the saga of characters I’ve known and loved for years. Could it have done more to push the envelope? Sure, but that’s not what I’ll think of when I remember playing this game. I’m just going to remember all the fun I had – and that’s the point, isn’t it?
Really liked that little portion. Even the GS review said, despite the score, that it was still in the end fun to play.

And then the PS3 doubles as a space heater. I haven't run folding@home for a while myself. I was getting concerned with heat and power consumption.

Really, my PS3 is like a fridge in comparison to my 360.
ditto, it gets "warm" on the far right side, but nothing compared to the 360's egg frying ability. but what weirder is that i've had my ps3 on for like 12 hours straight and its just warm, put 360 on for more then 2 hours and its scorching, especially at the back.

anyway, played the demo, love it, the very start when you gain control kinda shocked me, i was expecting it to look good but not THAT good, i thought i was still in the cutscene for a second. gameplay is the usual, but thats a good thing for me. definately gonna pick this up. now just a matter of juggling my time between this, cod 4, lair (rental) timeshift....plus the other stuff coming out around the same time, mass effect, assassin creed, army of two, kane and lynch etc etc. great time for gaming, bad time for anything else.

In my experience the PS3 is capable of generating much more heat than the 360 (just leave it folding for a few hours). The PS3's high power consumption seems to indicate it does as well.

That doesn't mean it's not more reliable, but it gets VERY warm. It's also worth noting that having the system on for hours and having the CPU at full load for hours will yield very different results.

i've only recently got it so i've been playing heavently sword and motorstorm for 12 hours straight the past 3 days....and its warm on the far right hand side. nothing compared to the boiling 360 after only an hour or 2

You played those games for 12 hours straight :|, I got the same 2 games and have barely touched them, talk about boring games.

But I agree about what you said regarding the heat, the 360 at times puts out heat like a heater (and i ain't kidding)

The PS3 may use double the wattage but it is much cooler, which is very strange indeed.

i cant stop playing motorstorm, amazing game. one of the best racers i've played since burnout. its like SSX on wheels...crazy fun tracks, crazy fun vehicles, crazy fun gamplay. i see why it one of the best sellers.

Motorstorm is fantastic yeah, especially rally cars with the sixaxis is enormous fun. I really do think it sucks content wise though. It's not that the tracks are terribly few, it's just that the career mode is disasterous. It's just a bunch of random configurations on random tracks. Incredibly sloppy.

Evolution belongs to Sony now though and Motorstorm 2 will prolly be crazily good in every way.
